Ok, just a lighthearted thought, nothing to take seriously :D

My friend and I were joking about "Hey, what if Ryan Gosling did somehow go and meet up with Markiplier haha?", after the whole Mark knows about the BloodyMary ship thing (context: it's a ship between Ryland Grace from PHM and Simon from Iron Lung).

And we were like, what if instead of a normal interview or videocall, they end up playing a game together? To which my friends said "New charity stream idea". And now, I'm just thinking what if Mark somehow makes a gameplay with Ryan and they're both just playing Subnautica online (based on Markiplier's latest videos).

Would be funny if it happened 🤔😯

What do others think would happen if Mark and Ryan did meet up over this? Just for funsies haha, if they didn't, it's also no matter. Both are awesome people and movies 🙌

I love the idea of Grace being a fox but he also has the friendliness and playful energy of an otter. Yeah...my first contribution to the art-side of PMH and it's otter!grace (get it? Like, like "utter grace" like - I'm just gonna see myself out)

Ok so bear with me here, it will be crazy. This will sound like the ramblings of a madman but even based on my latest reblog, I'm just entertaining the thought of the Project Hail Mary (PHM) universe interacting with Tolkienverse - though it's impossible to even write how that works.

(It's mostly self-indulgent, these two fandoms are my latest favs)

Featuring thoughts like:

• Thinking Faramir and Grace would get along well due to their kindness and natural curiosity of the world. Grace could teach Faramir sciences while Faramir would tell Grace, in turn, tales of old and Middle-Earth history.

• Grace and Rocky nerding out at how Middle-Earth works. What's different about physics, biology (idk my STEM) and magic to that extent. Though I see Rocky enjoying the various engineering feats that each people have (the Noldor specifically, the dwarves even hobbits).

• I am so intrigued by the idea of Grace or Rocky being such good friends with Celebrimbor in particular. If it was Feanor, that would be cool too, but it would almost always end up in flames whatever they do together.

• The shared affinity for stars, the heavens and the world in general.

• The shared affinity for life, the little things and friendship and/or love.

• Realistically, Grace might enjoy his time more with Hobbits actually. Entertaining Merry and Pippins' absurd questions or sharing stories with Frodo and Sam.

Ok, I'll stop. It actually sounds nuts but uh. Some food...for thought. (Please don't let this be too niche pls don't let this be too niche) 😭🙏

On the journey to Erid, Rocky and Grace work on the translation program by reading each other stories from their worlds.

They start simple, children’s stories with basic words and sentence structure, but eventually, they’re able to try things like poetry or more culturally relevant texts. They have years to do so, to refine the language between them that they essentially become amateur linguists for each other.

Rocky likes the Lord of the Rings. He likes the Dwarves and their penchant for creation and craft. He also likes Frodo and Sam, that they survive. He likes when Grace has them watch the movies, being able to understand the differences between the two but also visually see all the ways in which Frodo was the same and yet changed. How Sam got to have a family after, even if Frodo went with the Elves.

He resolves to make the dome on Erid for Grace. And to visit him, so that he doesn’t have to send Frodo away. That Frodo will get to see Sam’s family and be a part of it since he was what made it possible.

He asks Grace to read the books to Adrian when they get to Erid and enjoys Grace’s laughing agreement.

Grace records himself reading the books for Rocky so that he’ll always have a piece of him to tell their story.

Just watched Project Hail Mary a week ago and started to read the book. Not much cool thoughts to add into the conversation other cool people are saying online but,

That moment when Grace's instinct just takes over after succesfully unscrewing Rocky's message jar, and he sniffs the ALIEN JAR with ALIEN CHEMICALS with a smug grin before hilariously fearing for his life (the "oh nooOOOO" got me).

Idk man, peak human instincts taking over. Makes you wonder if that was a part of his habit back on Earth.

Maybe he likes bringing a hot drink in his tumbler and he always inhales the smell when he opens the lid.

It is not Rocky's fault the message jar was almost perfectly tumbler-shaped.

A really rough and quick sketch of THE Connor Anderson after watching the playthrough for the first time.

I just watched the dbh connor playthrough the first time and need to talk about a silly little thing.

You know how Connor has these little things he does like constantly checking his appearance, tidying his cuffs(?), straightening his tie?

I like it when people say it's because he's fidgety either because it's a personality quirk or because he was built for high-stakes situations with high levels of stimulation.

Though another explanation I imagined was that it's due to Connor's programming needing him to integrate with humans seamlessly, leading to this self-conciousness and even sort of "vanity" for his appearance? Like, his programming demands him to look trustworthy, approachable and charming. And it translates to Connor as, "people like me if I look nice/perfect".

Idk y'all....my two??? My one cent on this....I'm not far into the fandom yet but Connor is so interesting and to that extent, the whole android worldbuilding aaaaaaaa

The Eldest Sons || The Three Princes || The Eldest of the Third Generation

I had this posted on my Instagram art account before but wanted to post it here too, for cohesiveness with my previous Mae sketches hehe

This may be one of my first drawings related to Silm.

Something very curious about the dynamics of the eldest amongst the 3rd generation finwions. They're all eldest sons, each with different perspectives on their family's tension and relation, they belong to different age groups, and they all share the same burden as the eldest child, eldest son and eldest prince in the family. Hmmmm...

Not entirely sure how Tolkien elves actually work (given various descriptions in-canon), but personally love the idea of cat-like ears for Tolkien elves ❤️.

There's a post out there that once mentioned a headcanon of what if Tolkien elves emoted with their ears similarly to how humans do it with eyebrows (if you find the OP or similar ones, do tag or share in the comments!)

BUT THIS WOULD IMPLY (in my head) that half-elves like Elrond would not be able to emote them well or at all due to their Edain heritage.

And a sillier thought of Elrond and his children having THE BEST poker face game due to elves trying to read cues through their unmoving ears and humans trying to get through their millenium-years of training to not show a single emotion on their face. Yes, that's it.

What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear ideas hehe 😁
