First Encounters || SAORPG Open
❝ — Ah, I thought things would be more interesting, but suddenly it’s gotten so boring~ It’s just like any RPG.” Izaya yawned and leaned against a shady tree, faintly blending in with the dark surroundings. Izaya often did this in fits of boredom, observing and waiting for someone to . A normal person would be shaken, training for his life, but Izaya did not fit under the normal category. He had adapted to his new surroundings quickly; almost unnaturally so. He did feel a tad bit of resentment against the creator of this game, the so-called ‘god’ of this world for taking the seat he normally rested in, but not much more than that. He was still with his beloved humans and could observe them to his content- and that was fine with him.
What to do… Izaya thought, looking around. The grassy fields remained empty for the most part, save for a few training on the mid-level monsters. He approached one at random, flipping his mid-lock knife (acquired from a blacksmith in town) closed and slipping it into his pocket while raising a greeting.
“Hey. Mind if I train here? None of the monsters in the other parts are worth killing.” He grinned and put out a hand, introducing himself. “Izaya Orihara.”
Kaito was focused on getting stronger. He had more important things to attend to outside of the video game. Surely, Jii-chan would be holding care of Kaitou KID in Kuroba's absence.
Still, he would not delay his return. It had to have been made quickly and with efficiency. After all, dying would just result in never returning. The quicker he grew stronger, the quicker he could get out.
So, now, the thief was focused on basic training to increase his own level. What level was ideal to face the first boss? Already, it felt like he had taken too much time to get out.
The boomerang struck the target and the monster disappeared in a flash of sparkles. He caught his boomerang and the victory menu popped up. Some food thing he could cook - if he actually had a cooking skill.
Then, he was approached by a raven-haired male. A flip knife? Interesting choice of weapon. Then again, his was a boomerang, a dagger, and some darts...
"Yeah, sure." He shifted his weight to greet the man fully. Did he just announce his name? Such trust. Or maybe this man was incredibly naive to the internet world. "Kid," he replied. Well, Kid was the username he went by in Sword Art Online.
He wouldn't bother to trust anyone. Not that he had trust issues, but that he had better things to worry about than people. ...That sounded meaner than he expected it to.
Kaito shook Izaya's hand and nodded. A European greeting? It made him think of Hakuba. Stupid half-Brit detective...
Satoko and Kaito - (Life Isn't Always) How It's Planned To Be
Kaito - or Kid, as known in this world - was tired. Not because he was lacking energy, or that he had been running. It was the middle of the day, and Kaito had been doing nothing at all since the morning when he got up.
It was surprising that he wasn’t more tired than he was. Apparently, he stole some NPC’s bobby pin. And there it was, in his inventory, along with some outfit he had never seen before, similar to his Kaitou KID costume. It looked like while he was sleep-stealing, he was also sleep-sowing.
Was this normal?
He leaned his head back on the bench and sighed. If he was going to steal stuff, why couldn’t he steal anything more valuable than a bobby pin?
Kaito sighed and stared up at the sky. This was so stupid… He jumped up onto his feet and stretched. Well, no point in wondering about that now. Perhaps he could start on a quest or something. Give him something to do for the next few hours.
He was focusing on getting stronger and attempting to escape this damn place. As a solo player, anyway. He didn’t plan on getting caught up in personal relationships.
At least, he didn’t plan on it.
He stepped onto the street, with the intent to find some quest to make quick work on, and miraculously managed to actually walk into someone before he even made three steps out.
”Whoops, sorry,” was his somewhat casual, mostly embarrassed mumble. Who the hell takes one step and walks into someone? That was stupid…
Satoko pulled back a pack of blonde hair, as the warm weather and cloudy sky gave her the energy to actually step out and do something else than spacing out. It was her favorite weather. So she was on her way outside the city, applied with several potions and teleport chrystals in her inventory. It really bothered her you couldn’t put them in a bag to have on your back so you wouldn’t have to open the menu and search for the items you wanted when you need them. But on the same time, now you couldn’t just drop them anywhere. -bam-
Satoko was just about to avoid walking into a person that came from her right, so she took one step too much and ended up being in the way for a person on her left. Honestly, it made her nervously sick. “Errh…” The young woman stumbled upon her own words, staring at the male. “How stupid… I was just avoiding walking into this person, and then I walked on you instead… L-” Her words quit there, as if she was once again losing what she was saying right in the middle of her sentance. Actually, she was thinking about how blue his eyes where. “-ife. Life…. isn’t always as you plan it to be… erh…”
He raised an eyebrow as she spoke. Interesting situation. He supposed it all made more sense to him now. Him and his estranged luck. Well, he supposed his luck was on his side, when it really counted.
She had stopped halfway through her sentence and he blinked when she did. Finally, she finished her thought and Kaito nodded. "You could say that again," he chuckled with a sense of irony.
She didn't know the half of it.
The magician shifted in his weight from one foot to the other, taking in a moment to examine the crowded area. It certainly seemed quite busy all of a sudden.
He scratched the back of his head and stepped forward for an NPC to pass by before she walked into him and he would be back in that awkward moment.
"Should get out of here..." he said quietly to himself, although it was loud enough for the other to hear. What was the quickest way out? Jumping on the roof? He smirked at the thought but disregarded it.
Maybe he'd just maneuver through the people until he was home free. Or a teleportation crystal or something. Maybe he should just sit back down on the bench. Man, he really hated this game...
Blue Hue Of Tears - Kaito & Sachi
A world where your past doesn’t matter, where you come from or what you believe can pass by, and where everyone have at least one thing in common, can unite people. It was wonderful thing to see. But still, no matter where you are, there are people that refuse to get along even if it was a torrent of niceness around. And who would be a better piece of prey than a petite, vulnerable girl with tense walk and nervous eyes? Sachi couldn’t resist showing her fear the moment the other laid eyes on her. They weren’t old, but their armors where big, and they where certainly higher level than her. The Army. Even those who fight for justice, sometimes don’t know what lies within the people they fight with.
But where our story begin, Sachi is already hiding from them. Their voices echo inside her head, and for each letter it hurts, and the tears burned inside her eyes. What does a little piece of shit like you do here? Go and kill yourself already, or else you’ll just be in the way of us warriors, you fly. Make sure I don’t see that ugly face of yours when you start crying. And crying she where, badly, and the lump in her throat was so big by now she could no longer run. So while catching her breath, snoring once, the bluette rised her hand in a gesture to dry her wet cheeks, and try to figure out which way her home was. She just wanted to go there and hope to find something making her forget about this uncomfortable meeting. So through a pair of hazy eyes, Sachi looked up, and felt her heart getting hard the moment she laid her eyes on him. She wanted to be happy about his presence here, but she knew that she was still crying, and if he noticed her she would never be able to stop. She didn’t want to show herself so weak in front of him, after all that’s happened. But she didn’t want to leave. A part of her wanted him to notice her, hug her and ask her what’s wrong. So she couldn’t leave. She was frozen, staring at him. She knew that right now, there where just seconds, before she would be noticed. Her whole inside felt torn, open and bleeding. Or more like a wind was coming out of her heart, causing storm in her whole body. A mess. No, he couldn’t see her like this. So she turned her head first, then her body, and tried to escape.
"Oi, oi..." Another weird item in his inventory, this time a bowl. This had to stop happening. He would have gotten rid of those clothes in his inventory long ago, but they had a pretty decent armor rating, along with a sneak bonus, to them.
Odd, but he'd buy that for a dollar. Or however much he bought it for. If he had bought it.
Kaito continued on down the street, trying to occupy himself with a quest. He had talked to multiple NPCs but none of them seemed to carry or offer any quests.
Dang...
He wasn't afraid of anyone. He had no reason to be. He always considered himself strong, even if he was only sitting at a level seven. Aside, Kaito always did consider himself strong, powerful - unbeatable.
Well, at least, in the real world.
He scratched his elbow and sighed, casting his eyes around in an attempt to find any quest that he could take - any. He hadn't time to fool around in this game. He had jewels to steal in the real world.
Maybe that was why he was sleep-stealing. Terrific. The subconscious mind was really something, wasn't it?
However, in his search, he did not find a quest.
There was a quiet sniffle and what almost sounded like crying. He paused for a moment. Not a quest. A player? Again, he scanned his gaze for a player - a green diamond above one.
Finally, his eyes rested on a small bluette female. Had he seen her before? She seemed familiar? And then he realized she was the one crying. He stared after her for a few seconds...and then his feet moved on their own, chasing after her.
"Wait!"

Kaito was bored. He was supposed to meet with Aoko, but it seemed like she had to cancel for some reason. At least, that was what he understood from the text she had sent him.
Now, he was left no idea what to do, aside from maybe head to Tropical Land on his own - but even then, the place didn’t provide much excitement for him. At least, on his own.
Japan was an interesting place, he supposed. Except the police were idiots, and the detectives… Well, the High School detectives he had met proved to be an annoyance, including the little Tantei-kun and Hakuba.
There was always more to a town or a city than people really took for at first glance.
Then, he was approached by someone. A stranger. He hadn’t seen her around, and it was quite clear she were foreign. Her Japanese was rather rough.
”Yeah,” he replied, turning to face her completely. “What is it?”
The taller boy turns to face you, and you start to fidget with nervous energy, most of it transferring to your hands as you gently ‘pull’ at your fingers. It’s not fun being a shy girl, but you’ve gotten better compared to how you used to be. Talking to a strange boy, or even travelling by yourself would be unthinkable previously. The small bee gently kneads your shoulder with his small thin legs, automatically trying to make you feel better.
“I was wondering if you knew any restaurants that have good ramen? I’ve never been here so I don’t know which ones people would recommend, and there seem to be a lot of them…”
Your words come out a little fast, the tail end lowering to just above a mumble. Come to think about it, for all you know he could just be a visitor like you! You really hope he isn’t, not wanting to embarrass yourself further or bother him. For now you’ll just suck it up and continue on, it’s not like anyone knows who you are here anyways.
He stared at her for a little while, as she fiddled with her fingers, nervous and shy. The bee on her shoulder seemed to have been trying to help her. Except...this was a little annoying. Couldn't she just spit it out already?
Finally, she spoke and Kaito nodded. "Oi, don't talk so fast. I can barely here you." He paused, then shook his head, not wanting to make her anymore uncomfortable. "Yeah, I know a good place. They're all pretty alike. It's mainly just your selection and the prices that vary."
He turned on his heel and motioned for her to follow him. It wasn't very far, thankfully.

So this is what Japan is like, huh? It’s more confusing than you would’ve thought, but thanks to your small companion, a robotic bumblebee that functions as much more than the simple toy it looks like, you’re able to at least keep from getting too badly lost. Obviously you’re a foreigner, the vaguely confused expression on your face says it all.
With the little bee riding on your shoulder, you wander down the streets as he nudges you this way and that, quickly translating any signs or words you might hear. You’re looking for a good place to eat, mostly looking for a place with good ramen, something you’ve had a hard time finding in the US. Then again, you haven’t looked particularly hard either, simply just going straight to the source instead. Problem is, there’s a good many places that sell the delicious meal, and you haven’t the faintest clue as to which one is the best. Obviously the best choice of action is to ask a local.
And you find the perfect one, eyes landing on a young boy, maybe around your age, or more likely, a few years younger. His short spiky hair catches your attention, and cautiously you walk up to him, nervous about talking to a stranger.
“Um, excuse me? Could you help me with something?”

Out of Magic: omgsh. I just found five whole new messages in my inbox I have never seen before, but Tumblr didn't tell me I had them! I'm super sorry! And judging from the content of these messages, they were from a while ago. ^^;; I'm very sorry!
whats your hattori acct ?
I have two. osakan-detective and west-detective. Unfortunately, my west-detective account is apart of a closed role play group, so if you wish to Role Play with my Hattori, then I strongly advise (well, you kinda have to) you check out my osakan-detective. Thank you. ^^
The Trouble - Short Introduction
Kaito - or, Kid, now in this world - took another bite into his sandwich. It had been a week since he had become trapped in this world, and he had taken a reluctant adjustment to the game's rules. Things were either extremely easy to break, or impossible to break.
He was sitting at a decent level 7, which he thought was pretty good for one week. He wasn't one to normally play video games so he couldn't tell how well he was doing. But he was alive, and that was all that mattered.
But there was something wrong. Kaito knew it. Several times, he had gone to sleep at night and awoken up a level than he was when he went to sleep. The first time it happened, he thought he hadn't noticed it before, but as the game drew on, he realized it wasn't entirely normal.
There was something entirely wrong, and he knew it to. He heard it one the streets as he walked by people. A thief. Someone stealing NPCs items - thankfully, none of the players. They were basic things; food, low-level weapons, small amounts of cash.
But he was the one who had it. Things that appeared in his inventory, without his consent. Kaito was incredibly smart, and he had a very good idea of that fact that - chances were - he was heading out at night when he was supposed to be sleeping and stealing things.
It was stupid, but he supposed it made sense. Something - probably the headgear - was screwing with his mind. And while he had a very thick line between his persona as Kaito and as KID, he knew that he would have to be more careful.
If he truly was subconsciously donning his KID persona in this video game when he was supposed to be sleeping... If the game didn't realize something was wrong, it had to be something wrong with him. It wasn't good. Not good at all.
so i’m catching up on episodes of Magic Kaito, and i notice that there’s english written everywhere on this. so naturally i pause and see if it’s actually talking about Spider’s tour.
NOPE, it talks about thyroid glands in kids after a disaster happened at a nuclear power plant.
i know that anime always does this, but i just started laughing at the fact that instead of using gibberish or grey lines, they just stuck Spider’s pictures into an article that’s absolutely nowhere near related.))
I dare all SAORP muns to introduce themselves!
I know it isn’t munday or anything, but since the group just started up again, I want to know the new people here and get to know what the old people changed shapes to! I think we should all get to know each other from the beginning! So, feel free to answer the questions, and leave those you don’t want to write. Name: Aya Residence: Canada Been a part of SAORP before: Yes Name of muses: Kaito Kuroba/Kaitou KID Use three words to describe yourself: Weird, hot-blooded, and very slow. XD Your motto: Love thy neighbour. God didn't stutter. Will the zombies or robots take over the world first?: Robots. What’s your favourite ice cream flavour?: Ah... I dunno. XD Chocolate, I guess, but with many toppings. How many languages can you speak?: Uh... English, a little French, very little Japanese, and extremely limited Danish. Like A Sunbeam [Sachi dying in Kaito's arms]
Sachi felt ripped up. If anything was showing on her body, she didn’t know. But she felt ripped up from the inside, destroyed, broken to pieces of bones. Bones of glass, so if you pick her up you’ll hurt yourself. No one should come close. Just leave her there, as she becomes it, and return to whatever was before her. If that was returning. She knew she would die. It felt surreal, and somewhat cold. She was so young. She had so much options, so much chances and so much dreams ahead of her that would disappear into thin air. Maybe her dreams would evaporate to clouds, floating in a world of pure white, and her body would moulder to the ground and bloom as a cherry tree next summer.
(OW OW OW OW OW OW - FEEEEEELS!!!!!)
Muse Update
Okay, okay. Normally, I'd have Kaito speak for me, but he isn't here at the moment due to Muse Troubles. Um... No, actually, Heiji kidnapped me and I couldn't see Kaito for a while. In Real Life terms, I've been obsessing over my Heiji account.
However, due to change of events, I might be jumping back over here more than Heiji due to Muse Troubles with him, now. It all depends. I don't really have ANY muse, at the moment. I'm wondering if I should try helping my Heiji muse, but I don't know if I'm gonna succeed at all.
As for Kaito, I'm going to TRY because he's still sorta there and he's probably the next best thing if I decide to get my ass going on RPs again.
ANYWAYS, just hold on a little longer. I might need some time to get this account kicking into gear again, so, yeah. I will...maybe be back in a little bit!
Thanks!
