I’m a little surprised Joey’s agent didn’t get him some Magazine interviews to help publicise the release of The Amazing Devil’s new album. I know he’s his acting agent and not a manager but you’d think there would be some sort of strategy to raise his profile and help him a tad financially. Plus his music is fucking epic and a huge part of who he is. His agent is one of the best in the business and must use all sorts of strategies to help his clients move up in the business. As per usual I’m always surprised at the lack of pr for Joey, whether it’s for acting or singing. Ok he isn’t one of the main 3 cast members of The Witcher but given the viral hit of Toss a Coin you’d think some journalists would have jumped at the chance of an interview with him. He could then have mentioned the band and the new release. At least in that podcast he managed to slide in the band reference.
I wish there was a way to update the Amazing Devil data on Spotify to show Joey and Madeleine’s names under the tracks so there’s an easier route to their music if people listen to Joey on the Witcher soundtrack. I noticed I’m not the only one mentioning this on tumblr. I’d like as many people as possible to find their music and this update would help. If you search on Joey you only get the Witcher tracks and a playlist that a fan put together.
