Barbara in The Killing Joke: Gets shot like a rabid dog by a psycho clown who then strips her naked and takes pictures all in a plot to drive her father insane and add to Batman’s man-pain, effectively turning her into a plot device for a bunch of men.

Barbara in Young Justice: Chooses to put herself in harm’s way with no hesitation to prevent a child she doesn’t even know from killing someone and even after she’s paralyzed by said child, immediately reassures her and holds no resentment toward her and loves her like a little sister.

And that’s why I don’t mind Young Justice changing the story.

Young Justice Trend Day!

Hey all! As many of you know, Young Justice still hasn’t been picked up for a Season 5. WB and HBO Max are taking their sweet time in doing so– but here’s the problem: the longer they wait, the longer WE wait. Because of their six month delay, we had to wait almost 2.5 years for Phantoms, which only hurts the show. So many people don’t have the patience to wait that long and end up forgetting. 

If you’re sitting and thinking: “Well, what can I do about it?” then I’m glad you asked! On December 30th, at 12PM EST, 9AM PST, the day the mid-season finale airs, the YJ fandom is going to attempt a trend on Twitter using the hashtag: #RenewYoungJustice. The point here is to make our voices loud and heard by the powers of be so they see how much we want more seasons.
