AND BEFORE THAT THIS MAN HITS C!TECHNO WITH THE MESSAGE "hey i'm on the way to your house need to have a chat with you" YEAH I WONDER WHY WITH C!TECHNO SPECIFICALLY AND WHY SPECIFICALLY NOW

ooh okay so i was rewatching exile as you do and just noticed that apparently ghostbur was told by c!dream that logstedshire "just exploded like l'manburg did" and so he couldn't hang around there anymore and then the same day he got a letter from l'manburg's city council that kicked him out of the sewer he lived in which left him homeless with nowhere to go

it was also pointed out that the letter didn't have an official l'manburg stamp on it and with c!ranboo saying "i don't think it was tubbo [...] there's someone else pulling the strings here" a bit earlier i'd say that's confirmed c!dream forged that letter

this doesn't really add much else to the story but i haven't seen this mentioned before and i thought it was interesting that c!dream tried to keep ghostbur away from l'manburg as well, most likely to further hide what he had been doing to c!tommy in exile

like it wasn't as if he could straight up kill this witness like he did with md (i mean, from what it seems with that "walk in the snow", he certainly tried [or, at the very least, wanted him to be injured and get and stay lost]) so he settled from pretty much exiling ghostbur from l'manburg too secretly in case ghostbur ended up telling anyone there what happened in exile or at least about how c!dream sent ghostbur away from logstedshire, which might've raised suspicions

I just Dont think the Staged Finale changes Much at all

It is not at all confirmed that c!Dream put himself in prison for a good reason, to unite the server again, or whatever. (Yknow the uniting the server thing is funny when you consider his 4 perma-kills but I guess their lives matter too little for ppl to care about them) (despite MD getting a whole stream where he's a ghost and angry at c!Dream who very much canonically killed him)

And even if he didnt Actually plan on stealing peoples attachments, they still Thought he did? Like it was still a traumatizing experience. Imagine me taking you to a huge underground dungeon and telling you I will murder your best friend in front of you while you're crying and thinking it's your last moment together, and then you Never find out I wasnt Actually doing to do it.

It doesnt change Anything about c!Dream's morality for again we Dont know Why he wanted to be in Prison and he Continued to act the Exact same way he did pre-prison both Inside the Prison and after Escaping the prison.

I'm just very confused as to why people act like its confirmed that "c!Dream was trying to unite the server Against him he sacrificed himself to unite the server uwu" when this lines up with None of his actions, has not been Confirmed, and like Half the server (other than the dead members!) were United for maybe [checks watch] 20 minutes or so

The Exile Arc, which is the Biggest show of c!Dream's personality and morality, remains untouched and Not staged. In the Exile arc we see how he treats someone under his control, how he treats someone when they're alone with him and not Able to Tell anyone. We see him Murder a guy, Abuse a Kid to the brink of Suicide, and in some clips we see him Laughing about it and having a Grand old Time. This is c!Dream showing his True Colours, which is an Abusive Murderer. He has No Reason to fake his personality around specifically c!Tommy.

I'm sorry, I dont Care about the Staged Finale and dont believe it's this "huge thing that shows c!Dream's intentions and morality is actually good!!!" I will be standing right where I am in believing that Exile shows c!Dream for who he is.

Soooooo you know how Tommy, who has straight up said "c!Dream is a terrible person he is the worst" wrote the Disc War Finale? lol.

If that's not an indicator that the Finale being staged wasnt supposed to indicate anything Good about c!Dream's morality, I dont know what is 😭

Tommy systematically going out of his way to utterly dunk on c!Dream apologists is so funny btw. From the “why is dream so obsessed with me” to talking Openly about the physical abuse in exile that’s often denied to calling him a terrible person OOC while also talking about helping writing his arc… he’s so frustrated that people are just flat out Not Taking him and his mates OCs storyline seriously.

i should make a statement.

i cut ties with @/deavoured after a thread dropped on twitter that he is apart of p.opp.ytwt/pop.py.blr and is a /r shipper of c!d.is.cdu.o.

before this, i commissioned him a comic of sweaterduo using a fake discord screenshot. at this time, i did not know he was shipping incest and pedophilia of c!d.isc.du.o.

i had a sick hunch, but i didn't want to assume the worst because of the nature of di.sc.du.o already being creepy canonically, i feel that it is easy to draw a conclusion that d.is.cdu.o frogs are connected to and support po.pp.ytw.t because i have faced that accusation along with a few other mutuals just for the crime of enjoying canonical d.is.cd.uo and it's components.

that being said, i am no longer associated with @/deavoured. i prefer you not to harass him, and it may be better to block. his art has circled along tumblr and anyone here who is into dis.c.du.o may have seen his art.
