If you are about to face a tough day, do not have a Caramel Capuccino, do not soften down...
Have a Coffee, Black and let the day have a tough you!
In every time and place, in every lifetime and universe💫
It starts, as it will end. With a garden.
Hasta que el amor sea esto.
- I know it’s a risk. Probably our biggest one yet. But I’m willing to take it; are you with me?
- Always.
He doesn't answer his name or location, all he knows is her: "I know you, Captain". And somehow, that seems to suffice.
Voyager re-watch
I have been watching some episodes and even though I have been a huge J/C shipper since the beginning, I am glad they did not come together during the series.
I believe it would have been a good treat for the fans and a good twist for the characters if something had happened in "Resolutions", because it had made it harder to go back to the captain-commander dynamics, and a lot more heartbreaking.
I do feel nausea about the C/7 narrative, specially when they made such an amazing work with the motherly approach of Janeway to Seven. Sickens my stomach.
I just understand why Mulgrew insisted on that for Janeway.
Excuse me, everything did happen in "Resolutions", it just wasn't shown on screen. 😌
No, honestly, I love how ambiguously the episode is shot. And I DO think they did it on New Earth. Otherwise, Janeway's devastation makes no sense to me in the scene where they beam up to Voyager.
However, I agree with you that it was good that they didn't get together on Voyager, as hard as I ship them. I just would've loved a scene in "Endgame" where it's hinted that they now may have a future.
Yes, I want to believe in the "non shown interactions" of Resolutions, but then "Shattered" happened and that dialogue in Engineering... but that could have been just Chakotay calming her young and shy nerves... since she was obviously embarrassed by asking!
STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK (1984) dir. Leonard Nimoy
This is why McCoy is superior to TFP Ratchet.
He doesn't tell Kirk something that will destroy him/worsen his insecurities (like TFP Ratchet does with Optimus.)
McCoy tells Kirk what he needs to hear, and means it.
*A fighting chance to live*
VOY | Equinox pt. 1/2
Heartbreaking.
I know that Chakotay's character did not have much development in the series, but this episode is key to show how important he actually is to keep it all together (to keep her together).
I love her madly, I would follow her INTO the Delta Quadrant, let alone back home. A huge part of that is that I never felt they portrayed her as needing a man to be a good captain: this was a leading female character in the 1990s, who did not need a man to be whole.
I think this episode shows that very weel, Chakotay is a great First Officer because he trusts her completely. He knows she is blinded by the pain of treason, and that when she came back from that pain, she could never lived with what she intended to do.
I love her for not being perfect, makes me trust her more because I do not feel she is hiding imperfections. She is great in all her humanity.
Crown the past
Happy birthday to the one and only, to the one who took us home.
Star Trek: Discovery 04.07 "…But to Connect"
I love how new Star Trek is giving us female leading characters that are so different, so rich in their diversity.
I love these two.

If you could chose a mothering style for yourself, who would you chose to be like?
Christine Chappel (TOS)
Kira Nerys
Deanna troi
Jadzia Dax
Kathryn Janeway
B'Elanna Torres
Michael Burnham
Emperor Philippa Georgiou
Silvia Tilly
President T'Rina
Lura Thok

So, it's only Delta Quadrant Kathryn the one who has her coffee black.
As if the coffee needed to match her life.
It took exhaustive research, sifting through teraquads of data, separating fact from rumour… but eventually, I arrived at the truth.
Captain…?
Happy Birthday.
OMG that little gorgeous face of hers after he "humours" her!!
I'm dead.
There's a Nebula in That Coffee

I was inspired by lilvoyagercomic's recent artwork of Janeway to write this little thing! Just a short piece and I admit it's been a while since I watched the series (it's next on my list for a rewatch!), but I hope y'all enjoy :)
Summary:
Having finally refilled their power reserves, Captain Kathryn Janeway’s morning cup of coffee is interrupted by something she’s never seen before. That should never have been possible.
There’s a nebula in her coffee.
If you need t smile with tenderness, this is the fic.
Cutest ever!
