I felt like things seemed kind of slow right now, so I’m writing an open starter for anyone that would like to interact with (one of) my Yuu(s)! :3

“Where even is everyone…?” [they mumble to themself, tapping their fingers on the books’ hardback covers.]
[Regardless of who’s there and who’s not, Shiyuu’s purpose here isn’t to socialize. It’s to find answers.]
[Since Crowley hasn’t been doing any himself, apparently.]
[Readjusting their glasses, they look up at the shelf next to them. They scan it for anything related to interdimensional travel, other worlds, anything that could find a lead.]
[Though, they turn at the sound of someone approaching.]
“Huh?”
[Who could that be?]
*a third year plods by with a cane followed by a small dog sized robot she seems to be carrying an assortment of herbs and a few manuals on magical and chemical weapons*
good day! *the robot chimes as the group moves to a table the girl does not verbally acknowledge you*
“Uh…hi…”
[…you know, if this were any earlier in the year, this might have been the strangest thing Shiyuu’s ever seen. They just kind of watch the two go by…curious, but too anxious to go up first.]

*the group stops and turns to them*
“Ah!” [Shiyuu blushes slightly in embarrassment, waving his hands frantically.] “Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare! I’m just…curious? I suppose?”
Oh don’t worry about it, curiousity isn’t a crime, what did you want to question?
*she puts her books down the robot idly observes while booting up a video game that can be seen holographically projected infront of them*
“Well…u-um…”
[He kind of gestures vaguely at the robot, a confused yet polite smile on his face.]
“How…? And uh…what…?”
… that’s my daughter, she acts as my carer for my condition, she’s not the only robot on campus you know?

[Shiyuu laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. Shiiiiit, you might be making this weird!]

“Yeah, o-of course not! I’m not so particular about the fact that she’s a robot, more so about…other stuff? Like uh…how was she made? How…” [he trails off, suddenly distracted by the gaming.] “Wait, is that CoD? You guys have that here?”
Oh I made her with the help of my cousin, he was big on robotics
Yeah it’s one of the old ones! Back when they actually cared about what they were making and not making a quick thaum mage-ops 1 wanna play?
“Sounds cool,” [Shiyuu hums in interest at the explanation, taking a mental note.]
“Oh, I-I don’t think I’ve ever actually played the games myself, but I could give it a try!” [He sits down nearby, getting a better look at the holographed screen.]
*Morgana expands the holographic screen and Maria hands him a magecam running a controller software the game switches to co op*

*the game seems similar to black ops 1 but replaces the Russians with the fae the more observant could probably observe propaganda and biases inside the game giving a pro military outlook in a similar way to actual CoD games*

“Yeah, uh…but to be honest, this game seems pretty…biased? Against fae?” [They murmur, hesitant.] “…it’s just a video game, but I can’t help but be a bit nervous.”
[They glance up at Maria as they reload in-game, taking in the books that she’s reading. They’re noticing a trend of war-related content…this makes them feel nervous, for some reason, but they’re pretty good at concealing it.]
Oh yeah the creators were funded by the government I think that one was made during hostilities with briarland I don’t let her play the later games, specifically ones with certain, groups. Morgana puts up with it, I preferred it when she played doom, Morgana maybe you should switch to multiplayer or something?

Mostly war games and such to deal with the stress, I’ve got a few strategy games, both sides are completely fictional so that should ease your discomfort and such,

Physical education should not be mandatory for Night Raven college students.
As a merfolk myself this class is disgustingly disrespectful to me and my people, due to not being used to two wobbly legs I struggle with things such as running and sometimes even walking. Merfolk as I don’t get even the smallest accommodations, why make fish fly when they clearly struggle with motion sickness?
When I relayed this all to Mr. Vargas he told me it was a skill issue and to do 3 laps on a broom around the field. I nearly broke my ankle. I still had to stay after class with a helper. This class is clearly cutting into my more important actually useful classes, and soon enough I believe I will fall behind because of it.
Please remove physical education from this school.

In the Library (A Shiyuu Oboete Open Starter)
I felt like things seemed kind of slow right now, so I’m writing an open starter for anyone that would like to interact with (one of) my Yuu(s)! :3

[Footsteps echo in the quiet library, the sound bouncing off the walls. Shiyuu sighs, adjusting the books in hand.]
“Where even is everyone…?” [they mumble to themself, tapping their fingers on the books’ hardback covers.]
[Regardless of who’s there and who’s not, Shiyuu’s purpose here isn’t to socialize. It’s to find answers.]
[Since Crowley hasn’t been doing any himself, apparently.]
[Readjusting their glasses, they look up at the shelf next to them. They scan it for anything related to interdimensional travel, other worlds, anything that could find a lead.]
[Though, they turn at the sound of someone approaching.]
“Huh?”
[Who could that be?]
*a third year plods by with a cane followed by a small dog sized robot she seems to be carrying an assortment of herbs and a few manuals on magical and chemical weapons*
good day! *the robot chimes as the group moves to a table the girl does not verbally acknowledge you*
“Uh…hi…”
[…you know, if this were any earlier in the year, this might have been the strangest thing Shiyuu’s ever seen. They just kind of watch the two go by…curious, but too anxious to go up first.]
You need anything?
*the group stops and turns to them*
“Ah!” [Shiyuu blushes slightly in embarrassment, waving his hands frantically.] “Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare! I’m just…curious? I suppose?”
Oh don’t worry about it, curiousity isn’t a crime, what did you want to question?
*she puts her books down the robot idly observes while booting up a video game that can be seen holographically projected infront of them*
