Letting Go and Moving on
Letting go is something that’s hard to do. Trying to move on can sometimes be even harder to do. People come and go out of your life so much, all of them leaving and taking a small part of you after they’re gone. It could take weeks, days, months, hell, even years to FULLY get over someone you used to love with all your heart. Time .. really does heal all wounds. I know, it’s such a cliche thing to say right, but it’s true. As time passes you grow, you learn (hopefully) and you see things much clearer than you did before. When your eyes were shrouded with all the things you THAUGHT were nice about your significant other, but ended up being the very things you hated about them, but you shrug it off, thinking “ i’ll talk to them about it, eventually, if it happens again”. Then it does happen again, you pause for a second, remembering that you told yourself that you were going to speak your truth next time this happened, but you didn’t.. Still. Things progress as usual day after day, and nothing ever changes, nothing ever gets fixed, nothing ever gets truly talked about. Finally the day comes either you or they just ends it. This ending could be violent, could be short, to the point, hurtful and crushing, or sometimes even pleasant, nice even when both are mature adults about it all. So it ends, and you’re vulnerable for a while (maybe), you’re crushed with learning the truth about things. Years, months, weeks, days go by though, and slowly but surely you start to let go, move on and go forward with your new life. You still may not be where you want to be in life, you still may not have achieved the goals you wanted when things ended, you’re still living everyday and take those steps to truly let those events go in your heart, in your soul, your releasing bad energy, and bringing in the new because you can’t bring in the new and still feel held down by the old. You may not be ready for this right now, but YOU WILL BE, time is your friend in these situations, and will help you in your journey in healing your heart.
