Hi T! First of all let me say I am sorry you're being put in this situation.

It's going to be okay. obviously this is a stressful situation but remember to relax and take care of yourself as much as you can. try not to worry about what you cannot control, don't waste your energy on it.

you are going to make it out of your abusive situation. there's a call to let go of your past and of the people who are treating you poorly and move on from them. cut them off completely if you can, and don't allow them to keep draining your energy. you'll be way better off when you leave, even if it's difficult at first, and the truth of the situation will be revealed

you're gonna meet your people! but you gotta get out there. don't be afraid to meet people and make new friends, move on from those old relationships. patience is key here in regards to both friendships and romantic relationships, you must be patient. what that means is if you meet someone, and you think they could be a friend or more but there's something about them that you don't like, wait and see how it develops, or have a talk with them and work it out. be patient with them. lasting relationships take time and hard work to maintain.

Next couple of months i feel like you're working hard in your internship or studying, and you're headed towards major burnout in september which will making finding a job even more difficult than it already is.

I feel that there's someone, maybe your supervisor or mentor, or someone else who has some kind of influence that will help you out a lot, but you need to listen to them and follow their directions and advice, and not give into negative thinking. maybe you can be really hard on yourself, and push yourself extremely hard because of your high standards, but you don't need to do that. it won't look good to your mentor either, because you will burn out and perform poorly.

there's a call for realism and rationality here, to manage your expectations. don't rush it, be patient.

i am hearing that you should stick with your major, even if it takes longer to find a job. doing something else( like music) will only help in the short term. of course I know that's easier said than done
