ランディングギアを塗装しました。前輪のケーブルガイドは後期型になってからの装備みたいですが、前期型にも付いているように見える不鮮明な写真があったのでこちらを選択。ゴチャゴチャしてた方がカッコイイですからね。

Finish stuff Friday! I had tried to get this one done by the end of 2025 with the other Mustangs, but it wasn't in the cards. This is the Tamiya 1/48 P-51, which is a dream to build. I had used aftermarket decals, but I don't remember from whom. This is my 5th time building a 375th group Mustang. Have 3 of them still. Lou IV I built in 2005. Detroit Miss last year, and Ferocious Frankie I finished last month. I think on Detroit Miss I've figured out how to do the silver paint on the Mustang wings. I did it with a base coat of grey, with a thin silver brush over top. That differentiates between silver paint as metal vs paint. Happy with the results here, I tried to replicate painted over invasion stripes on the upper wings. Enough Mustangs for a while.

エンジンの制作。キットも悪くないですが、射出成形の宿命でパイプ類の再現が甘いので3Dデータを作成し出力しました。シルバーで塗装後、オイルカラーでフィルタリングして変化をつけてみました。

コックピットパネルを制作しました。以前海外のモデラーがやっていたスイッチやノブを一つずつ植えていく方法がとても良く見えたので真似してみました。 ただ手間と時間がかかりすぎるので、サイドパネルは比較的大きめのノブだけ別パーツで出力。この方法が手間と見栄えのバランスが良さそうです。

Class of 2025. I didn't get a ton done this year, life was really life-ing in 2025, but that's ok.

Four Mustangs, four different kits. Passion Wagon is a Hasegawa kit, early D model without the tail fillet.

Miss America is the classic Monogram/ Revell kit, same one I built 30 years ago.

Detroit Miss is the great Tamiya kit, probably my favorite airplane kit to build.

The Paul Mantz C model is from Accurate Miniatures, and is the only C model that I have built that does have the tail fillet.

2026 I'm looking to round out a couple of collections I have going, Century fighters, and Hawker fighters. So we'll see how it goes. Happy New Year model makers!

あけましておめでとうございます。 新年からマジックファクトリーのA-4Mスカイホークを作り始めようと思います。 初めて作るメーカーなのでどうなるか分かりませんがのんびり作っていこうかと。

磁石を埋め込んでいるのでカウル有り無しのエンジンを付け替えできます。また主翼のボムラックも付け外し可能です。 ドラム缶は錆びさせたり傷つけたりと色々なパターンを作ってみましたが、最終的に軽く汚す程度に落ち着きました。 対照的に工具類は強めにウェザリングしてみました。 増槽も磁石を埋め込んで脱着式にしたかったのですが、形状の違いに対応できず諦めました。平たい200ガロンのタンクが置きやすく情景の良いアクセントになります。 整備員のフィギュアが欲しいのですがメーカーは出す予定ないのかな？

MiniArt P-47D Thunderbolt 1/48 完成しました。

コックピットを塗装しました。シートベルトだけ作り直して他はキットのままです。胴体を閉じる前に塗装しておく箇所が意外と多かったので今日はここまで。

R-2800 ダブルワスプエンジンを制作しました。資料が思いの外集まらず結構大変でした。 最近お気に入りのResione SP64はフィルムの剥離性も良くかなり細いパーツも折れずに出力出来ます。 更に高級なTH-HRというレジンもあるそうなので気になるところ。

次作（予定）。以前から気になってたキットがあったので購入しました。レシプロ機は久々です。

Nerikson Jane The Gunslinger Bust 完成しました。肌とベース以外はアクリルガッシュの筆塗りで仕上げました。人物系の塗装は難しい。

M2A2のジオラマ完成しました。

土部分の塗装して石をエナメル塗料で塗り分け、最後にガードレールを塗装してベース完了です。

あけましておめでとうございます。 タミヤのチッピング液を塗って白線を塗装し、乾燥後に剥がしてみました。

黒サフ吹いてアスファルトと支柱を塗装中。
