We are two creators who started up a long project of rewriting and redesigning Hazbin Hotel based on the pilot. This project is for fun!
That being said, let’s set up some ground rules and information!
Rules:
1. No bigotry of any kind will be tolerated!
2. This blog is harassment free! Take that drama elsewhere please.
3. Please don't be rude about any design or story changes we made. We know it's different, that's the point. It's not supposed to be animation friendly or fit into the 8 episodes prime was insistent on.
Why does this blog exist?
Me and Rena have been working on this project behind the scenes for awhile now. I’ve been posting my redesigns for this project on my art account, and thought it’d be a good idea to make a blog dedicated to this project! That way we can post art, story snippets, and eventually, a fully written project (hopefully). Also, I thought it would be fun to give people the chance to interact with our version of these characters.
My stance on Vivziepop and canon
This is purely mod Moth speaking for a moment here. I do not like Vivziepop, I think she's a transphobic, immature thief and a sellout, and as it stands I'm kinda exasperated with the show we got. There's potential there, but as it stands I am just, so disappointed with the end product. I do not support Vivziepop in the slightest, and have not given her a cent, and will continue to do so.
That being said, there's too much potential for us to ignore, and that's why me and Rena have started this project, focusing on the missed potential and showing instead of just telling. Plus I made some fun designs that I wanted to use for something.
Mod Rena’s addition:
Personally I never really had an opinion of Viv for the longest time and that's mainly because I have a weird thing about shows where I don't really follow what the creator does?? So for years I never really cared for her, only the pilot and the VAs/HunCast because they are what brought charm into the Fandom. (I didn't watch every single one only a few). So eventually when I heard of bad things about Viv based on videos on YouTube and seeing her behavior to criticism on Twitter clearly shows what kind of person she is? Along with then few other things I've heard about from Moth since they're more in tune to what happens around the internet. So overall, I didn't care for her and now I care for her less.
