anyways welcome to my blog his name is jae naverre dubois french korean nationality adopted and raised to know his culture as part of a conscious effort by his mother, di dubois, who learned korean to try and raise him with that cultural understanding and made for a greater relationship between the two of them. also he’s a mutant or mutant-esque type being with the power to weaponize words and their meanings including language specific words and bring them to life where theyre written, floating off the page in a visual fest idk i was gonna make this post way earlier but now my brain is dead but basically all the facts are as follows: i love him.
so di dubois is a national treasure and her husband died in ww2 n she should really be older but she'd be a great witch echoing two ruined timescapes idk im jus kinda rambling to get my thoughts out but jaes mutation using books and biographies to like unlock timeshares of memories and events wrotten down with everything composed of letters and words which is like so hard to explain whats in my head but trust me here and like explosions the letters all scatter and disperse bc theres nothing holding them together and i may or may not retcon stuff im still figuring out who jae is and who di is too but shes such an important figure in his life and like yeah hes a mutant and gifted but also hes ordinary and theres something so special and beautiful about that n he has cptsd and chronic anxiety from bad stuff and learning to control his power w books k bye
