Man invented religion to make god in his image. Women invented science to care for our bodies and men called it witchcraft and burned us for knowing the medicinal uses of herbs. Midwives were washing their hands while aiding birth at the same time that male doctors would move from one patient to another with blood still on their hands from the last.

They shamed us for using poison and claimed true self defense is “equal force” as if a woman’s bare hands and arm strength and shoulders were indifferent from a man’s, as if humans got to the top of the food chain by brute force rather than our brains. They did this without empathizing with the reasons we might need to do so.
