Ok, witches! I gotta tell you about meteorological symbols!
There’s one for every weather condition you can think of! You can probably find a longer list in the back of a dictionary, or just search Google images.
You can use them as sigils on their own, or use them as inspiration to make your own sigils!
Use them for weather summoning!
Use the symbols as a substitute for certain weather conditions! For example, if a spell calls for rainwater and you live in the desert, use the meteorological symbol for heavy rain.
Use the metaphorical attributes of the symbols in spells! For example, a hurricane for added energy, or fog for concealment.
The list goes on!
Rainwater
Rain from a lightening storm
this has the greatest energy

Is this too much to ask for?
I was thinking about controversial it is, even in pagan settings, to worship tricksters like Loki and Sutekh, and I think that I described it pretty well with
"Tricksters are inherently transgressive figures who literally embody what it's like to live in a socially unacceptable or taboo way, which is why members of marginalized communities flock to them while more privileged people find them distasteful. They are the personifications of chaos and social unrest, which includes how much strife surrounds people who are deemed socially unacceptable; they are literally the gods of minorities and people who suffer under bigoted unjust systems.
When tricksters do something bad in a myth, marginalized groups see a complex rebellious figure with their own motives while privileged people see a bad person doing bad things. And when tricksters are punished, privileged people just see a bad guy getting their comeuppence while marginalized groups see the harsh realities of living as a socially unacceptable person.
It's no wonder then that queer people, the mentally ill and other minorities have flocked to Loki's side, since he embodies the realities of their lives, even when others can't understand it."

✧ how did the ancient greeks worship chthonic gods?
O1. usually, black or black-hided animals were offered to the deities. worshippers did not consume the meat themselves, but burned the entirety of the animal. some were also buried.
O2. altars were low or in a pit in the ground, offerings and sacrifices were given in the direction of the earth where chthonic deities would reside.
O3. the temples in which sacrifices were performed were usually built outside city walls, with caves and grottos being popular locations; which are believed to be openings for chthonic deities.
O4. worshippers lowered their palms and faced them downwards toward the earth and underworld, in the direction of the chthonic gods. the goal of chthonic worship was to interact with gods beneath the earth so offerings were directed toward the ground to reach the deities.
O5. incense was not used in chthonic worship, as the smoke rises upwards rather than downwards.
O6. wine was not utilized in this form of worship, but honey instead was a common libation used.
O7. some worshippers would stomp on the ground to wake the deities up.
it is important to note that there is no clear distinction between ouranic and chthonic deities (hermes & demeter are great examples), but chthonic worship can be identified with these signs.

devoting things to Dionysus is devoting your tiredness and low mental health but also that blissful thoughtless ecstasy devoting things to Dionysus is acting and performing a dramatized role for a deeper meaning most people are yet to uncover devoting things to Dionysus is respecting the old and the young, the traitors and the victims devoting things to Dionysus is knowing chaos had to come from order which was broken and beaten devoting things to Dionysus is knowing all good things take time to grow like fermented wine devoting things to Dionysus is knowing at times you need to start all over and rebirth devoting things to Dionysus is knowing just like the saying "its not about the destination but the journey" could be applied to travel but also life
Historically Sacred Items/Offerings to each of the Ouranic Theoi! I made this for my Hellenic polytheism group on discord, so I thought I’d share this information with all of you as well.
All information has been taken from theoi.com as well as various historical books on the gods, and I have decided to make this powerpoint so that other people don’t have to sift through all the pdfs and books themselves.
Make sure to click each image to get a fullview! Ευχαριστώ!
Father Ares is the feeling of holding on even when it feels so hard.
He’s the sound of your heart beating, and lets you know you’re still alive.
He’s the courage to keep going, no matter what happens.
He’s the feeling of doing what you needed to.
He’s the feeling of not being afraid anymore.
He is Strength and Courage.
Praise to Father Ares. Ily dad ^^^^
