Imagine if we get a scene where like the boys try to change their looks to be more with the times. Be it because people online started talking about how Julie has such a cool style and then āthe phantomsā style feels very 90ās and it would be cool if they got a change.
For those new here, normally around Halloween at my work we get in spooky shirts and sometimes they have ghosts on them and me being me Iām like āitās giving jatpā however I saw this summer shirt, I walked by and went āI feel as though Luke would wear that šā
just saw a julie and the phantoms specifically a julie x luke edit to stupid song (olivia rodrigo) and i feel so not ok rn like i have not moved on from jatp at all
Do you think Julieās ability to touch the Phantoms is permanent or based with intention? Because I just imagine her forgetting in the heat of a performance and trying to walk through Luke like she did in Bright, just to run straight into him and everyoneās like ???? Because the hologramsā¦ they just appeared, they were projected in like every show, they shouldnāt be REAL and yet. One of them is freaking out over his guitar to make sure it isnāt broken while Julie dies on the ground in embarrassment not sure how she can explain this away š
Iāve always thought of it as a permanent thing šļø but also this begs the question, the thing is like their instruments are like attached to their soul right šļø just bc Julie can touch the phantoms does that also mean she can touch their instruments too or is it because the instruments are still ghostly like them she would phase through the instrument as well, like does it take a bit until the boys instruments warm up to her and then sheās also able to touch the interments too š
So then on stage they try to do the phase through thing and the guitar goes through like normal but then Luke and Julie collide and theyāre like āuhhhhh šā and then I feel like it she phases through their instruments it might mess up their play bc I feel like it distorts where the fret board and strings are and then the guitar sound weird and then thatās an even bigger embarrassment
Genuine question, does anyone elseās interests just lead into each other?
Bc I got into Off Campus and turns out Antonio Cipriano follows Sacha, Kenny and Charlie and like I donāt know what to do with that information. Like why are the interests connected in some way or another šļø
thereās gotta be at least one person who often says āi really love this band, iāve been listening to them since i was growing up in the 90s. itās called Sunset Curve. yeah youāve definitely never heard of them, theyāre super undergroundā
Iām picturing those girls who squealed (I mean who wouldnāt) when Reggie gifted them t-shirts while they waited in line the night they died saying that.
I hope theyāre still friends and I also think about when performance clips of Julie and the Phantoms as a band starts being uploaded they just send it to each other like āšļøššļø ummmā
Think of all the Sunset Curve fans who were around and then they suddenly see three, that they mourned for, out of four of them with Julie on video. Thereās probably a teenage girl Sunset Curve fan who had like posters of them on her walls, went to EVERY thing ever with them, fangirled over Luke and that Luke fangirl is grown up now, looking at the Edge of Great video, with Luke and Julie at the piano bench and asking why that couldnāt have been her back in the dayš
Also fascinated with the concept of Reggie and Alex being aware the band and them separately had fangirls and Luke never mentions it bc he genuinely did not ever think about that he was too involved with the music like he genuinely was so obviously to the fangirls there would be for him.
Especially if that comes up in conversation with Julie like theyāre comparing what people would do at gigs compared to then vs now and Alex is like āGirls are still reaching for Luke like how they did back then.ā And Julie is unphased bc that makes sense bc have you seen him (must we remember that she first called the boys ācute ghostsā when she first met them) Lukeās like āwhat šļøššļøā and Reggie is like āyou never realized?ā And heās looking between them wondering if this has been common knowledge and Julie is like āI mean you each probably had your own fangirls.ā And Lukeās like āI never did.ā And then the two are like āumm š¤Øā and then name incidents āremember when we were playing in the summer and you wiped your forehead with your shirt and the front line of girls about passed outā Julie is nodding bc again, this all makes sense Lukeās like āI thought they were thirsty it was hot outā
Also just now thought of how rampant a Julie and the Phantoms edit would go in their universe like with their performance clips the boys are really into it āthey made me look so cool!ā Theyāre amazed that people can just do this with like technology they would have never imagined anything like that back when they were alive. Until one faithful day Luke asks Julie a question in regard to the caption of one them āJulie why does it say āThirst Trapā is that slang for something?ā And she just questions everything ever as out of all terms to ask about, out of the three boys why was it Luke to ask about that term
Obsessed with the idea of the Phantomās first Pride Month, it wasnāt even a federally recognized thing before they died. None of them being fully prepared.
Alex has been told that the world has become more accepting but it doesnāt really hit him until he sees just how many people gather at a pride parade. Heās been trying to catch up to more of the modern terms & labels (especially because I believe in genderfuckery Willieā¦) so he knew conceptually that itās all expanded but still. So many people, so happy to show off their true selves. Itās not perfect but itās more than heās dreamed of.
I know the terms for bi/pan have existed for a while but I donāt think Reg and Luke wouldāve had those labels for themselves. The official flags that we know today werenāt even established yet back then. Reggie would be so happy to be matching colors with Julie (bi siblings forever). Also in support of Bisexual Ray agendaā¦ Probably the first openly queer adult any of them have actually met (if you can count haunting as āmeetingā).
Itās not like the ghosts can be seen by others but just to get the chance to be at pride events and witness it allā¦ they deserve that much.
Now they just need someone to teach them about polyamory what āļø who said thatā¦
Imagining jatp during pride makes me emotional bc imagine:
On one of their performance videos thereās comments that are mentioning Alexās bracelet that string rainbow one, this one:
Thereās comments saying ādid anyone see the drummers bracelet š„ŗšš he said happy prideā bc in their universe thereās a Julie and the Phantoms fan who seeing that is so important for them and Alex sees those comments and doesnāt know how to feel bc he never even considered something like that happening. He becomes the representation he needed to see when he was younger just by existing.
The comments on their performances that are talking about the chemistry that the guitarist and bassist have when they share the microphone and the boys donāt know what to say bc seeing how supportive people are they were not expecting. Seeing people being so open to that idea and not hating that concept and being so for it, the boys are taken aback in the best way possible.
Even Julie just being there would be like so healing in a way like so theyāre so confused at first when sheās like āitās pride month :)ā and theyāre like āwhatšļøā like the way sheās nonchalant about it is so different compared to when they were alive like the way she just says itās a thing and thatās it they could only ever DREAM about that back then.
Julie makes a comment like ātell Willie I say happy prideā and Alex is caught off guard and is like āI uhh donāt know what youāre talking aboutā and sheās like āarenāt you two together?ā And he is just again caught off guard by again how nonchalant she is, the way sheās not making a big deal about it is so weird to him given how his parents were where they made a big deal about everything he ever did after they knew āā¦youāre not gonna say anything else about thatā¦ like nothing else ā¦at allā heās just waiting for her to make a big deal about it but sheās just like āā¦are you and your boyfriend going to do anything for-ā and heās like āBOYFRIEND?!ā And again is hung up on how she is not making a big deal about it and is just speaking so casual bc this kind of attitude is not at all what it was like back when he was alive.
Thereās some moments where Julie definitely feels the difference in centuries between her and the boys especially when theyāre trying to use technology but the first pride with them she feels that immensely and she does everything she can to tell and show them how much the world has changed since they were alive with pride (again itās not 100% but compared to when they were alive everything is so different for the positive). I feel like even Julie mentioning that her school has a GSA club would make the boys feel such a way and put in perceptive how much has changed in schools with that (I am not saying by far that pride in schools is perfect bc it sure as hell isnāt but just the way that club exists in a school setting I can imagine would be so nice to hear)
Keeping Julie and the Phantoms going in Tomodachi life, still coping 6 years later š look at my little guyssss ,,, someday Iāll stop being lazy enough to make them custom outfits

I really hope that Reggie Peters is living his best (after)life considering how much Star Wars material is on streaming. Especially the first time he finds out you can just watch literally ANY Star Wars ever at any time

Carlos and Ray just walk by the living room and sees Star Wars on the tv and is like āah must be Reggieā and Ray joins sometimes bc growing up with those movies too like Reggie he understands
Imagine the amount of special themed episodes too we could have had by this point
The Halloween specials:
One special is the first Halloween the boys be spending as ghosts, Carlos begs Julie to bring the boys trick or treating with him so that way he can get maximum candy, another Halloween special is just a Halloween themed performance for them and they go all out on their ghost abilities (like maybe they discovered new ones by this point and they get to show them off at the Halloween gig bc they have that excuse to), another special featuring the different kinds of ghosts in their universe
The Christmas specials:
Turn from Christmas being a really sensitive time for the boys given their past experiences with that time of year given their family situations to slowly the boys welcoming the holiday and making new traditions and looking forward to the holiday and getting to spend it with the Molinaās, the mistletoe potential š
