If you are still taking questions about your cookie run ocs, may I ask about Chamomile Eclipse cookie and Primordial light? What was Primordial like before she split/died? Why did she split/die? What's Eclipse cookie's relation to Primordial and the other celestial cookies like Moonlight, Sunshine, Stardust, etc? /Gen

im assuminggggg you've read the deity chart which is why you're asking??? so this might be a repeat but, tldr, primordial light [and mt but he's not relevant here] is a being which exists outside of her form, semiconcious, the 'deity' of all magics and all the cosmos. the wizard's perfect experiment was to harness this into something tangible - a cookie, and they're sucessful! Basically imagine the canon ml cusscenes with her instead. however - something so powerful is Not Sustainable within a cookie body, and when the wizards leave/die/whatever nobody can 'maintain' it, and primordial light is starting to literally fall apart - letting go of more and more of her power in order to exist without imploding - however her divinity is tied into the structure of the city and as she gets weaker and weaker the city is getting fucked up. she isn't REALLY in threat of dying, as she's a concept beyond that, and will simply leave her body behind, but she now doesn't want to return to that state of semiconcious and she's grown to adore the city, and doesn't want to leave it behind to possible ruin.
so she chooses a protege - one who's already budding into greatness, with powerful magic, good leadership, inherent kindness and very eager to learn - hyacinth. [yes her name was formerly chamomile but i changed her pallete so i also changed the flower . purple hyacinths are more meaningful symbolism wise to aer anyways. eclipse is a name that gets tacked on later] she's pretty young, in her teens, but primordial needs someone young to be able to guide and also imprint the very complicated magic a divine's 'voice' needs. at first, she's haunted by vague dreams, symbols that call to her, of concepts so vast they hurt her head. it's so fucking frustrating, and she can't figure out what exactly it is. because magical connection/communication is a two way street, and primordial is too weakened to power through completely on her own. until hyacinth gets frustrated and scrawls out some of the symbols - and taps into divine power. oops. and uh - promptly freaks the fuck out, *especially* when someone notices that divine magic is being used somewhere and checks in on her [now that i think abt it its probably blueberry pie HFSDLKJFDS] and shit *immediately* spreads like wildfire and aer's . extremely overwhelmed and locks herself in a room somewhere with the most complicated lock spell it can think up - and reaches back to the divine threat that's been haunting her [she finally understands] and primordial light finally has a strong enough link to appear to her, and comforts and shushes her [aer panics that aers soaking aers goddess with her tears, but primordial shrugs it off], and they finally get to talk and . i won't get into the details because woahhh this is already long but they're very, very close, primordial light being rather motherly to her. hyacinth accepts her role as the high priestess, ias guided through the very scary world of shamanic magic and becomes an expert of it, is gifted her staff which she carries to this day, and its good!!! primordial is training her to be able to take care of the city in her absense - but hyacinth doesn't really realize it until primordial beleives she's old enough to know the truth - that she is dying. and hyacinth has a lot of time to prepare but,,, that's still her mother, and she's left with the scary expectation that *whatever* happens in the death of a god is her responsibility to take care of.
when eclipse is sitting beside her on her deathbed, primordial - as her last action, gathers all of her power together like a supernova. she's able to leave behind moonlight and sunshine, but doesn't have the time or strength to pull together stardust, and casts his essense into the stars her people so adored in hopes he'd find a form and be found, some day. [eclipse - the title earned here, knows about stardust, but there's not much she can do]. while eclipse wants to collapse and cry here, she's left with two babies to care for, and a potential disaster in the magical structure of the city. she scoops them into her arms and carries on, adding the duty of their caretaker to her very busy schedule.
well, aer will tell you aers their caretaker, but she's really their mom. they're quite literally her everything!!! she loves them so fucking much, raising them in the observatory she takes residence in to watch for the comet which escaped her during primordial's death. but good things don't last, do they?
when the twins are barely adults [or like . 17], nerium makes his power grab. i won't get to into depth of this, as nerium is my lovely gf [kissy kissy] @milkywaydreamtracks 's oc, but in this he curses moonlight to her slumber, lofting her far in the clouds on her moon, and sunshine only escapes by fleeing the city - being unable to return due to the dream barrier. most people are killed, with only a handful of exceptions [eclipse being one of them, due to her divine connections, the power involved instead looping over into immortality]. in her rage - magic so strong due to being built on a mother's grief, she chooses not to kill nerium but entrap him with him, cursing him with immortality. she's absolutely *destroyed*, retiring to her observatory permanantly in her grief to search desprately for a fix [there isn't one] and to try and cope, pushing away the very few left in the city in the throes of her grief. she's absolutely fucking miserable, but holds onto that hope that some day, she'll be able to hold them again. it's the only thing keeping her going, really.
i havent figured out ,,, EXACTLY how chp 15/16 work due to gingerbrave and co not being the protagonists in my fanon,,,, but when moonlight awakens, the dream barrier falls. sunshine is aware of this basically instantly [due to magic connections and shit - man my magic system is complicated i swear theres a ryme and reason to this i just . it isnt super relvant the mechanisms behind everything], but can't get their instantly.
just enough time for the stars to fall - what eclipse knew had to happen some day and moonlight foresaw. he mistook what happened to him - an act of love and hope in unfortunate circumstances, as hate and abandonment ,,, but when he's calmed down, eclipse is the first person to help him to his feet - who is the one to pull him away from the dark vortex. he's the son she's missed for so long - assures him he's just as much her son as the twins are. when sunshine returns - bringing the first sunrise the city has seen in millenia, she crashes into eclipse with a hug [she beleived eclipse was long dead], the city is restored due to all three of them being in the same place, and things are happy, finally. it's a really sweet reunion, and they retire to the room with the old rocking chair sunshine and moonlight remember so fondly,,, just,,, talking and . awawawawawawa . im normal i swear im trying to keep this brief. they just . ,,,, happy family :] seamoon wedding also happens :muscle: and eclipse gets the opportunity to walk moonlight down the aisle . they jsut make me really happy okay .

THE BEAN
Vanilla Bean's Pure Vanilla's son. He was born before his sister Vanilla Biscuit (Purrshadow's oc) and was blind in one eye (Biscuit was blind in both eyes). He and Biscuit were very close (still are) and loved each other so dearly <3
Until: oh no the dark flour war and their parents and kingdom go bye bye. (/lh) Bean and Biscuit escaped (even though they were still very young when it happened, Biscuit was like 4 years old). To preserve identity Vanilla Bean uses "Bean" as his nickname (Vanilla Biscuit uses "Biscuit") due to Dark Enchantress' army looking for them for their power.
Vanilla Bean is the one that is practically raising Vanilla Biscuit. Though they both wish both their parents could have raised them both and they cry together a lot <///3
They don't know when it safe to look for their parents just yet and Bean is like the most overprotective brother ever
