Find out how the 'I Love You' translation project made us passionate about translating Webmaker.
Webmaker looks ahead to 2014: Web Literacy teaching kits, user-made content channels, and adding the Appmaker to our suite of tools. Find out what's coming up next for Webmaker here: https://blog.webmaker.org/looking-to-2014

MakeThingsDoStuff - the UK's Full Time MakerParty Scene!
Make Things Do Stuff is a campaign to inspire young people aged between 13 and 18 to make things in the digital world. It aims to help them to look beyond being a consumer and instead to create things, understand why things happen and to take ownership of it for themselves.
The campaign offers support, advice, resources and tools that are ideal for use in schools and at home, whether itâs a lesson, after-school club or competition. Thereâs something for everyone, whatever level they (or you) are at â and itâs all designed to nurture understanding and enjoyment through practical experience.
You can find things to Make and Do here: http://makethingsdostuff.co.uk
And here's a look at some photos of the cool stuff we did this year:
(1) Roundhouse: Webmaking Workshop (10 Nov) was a day-long workshop with 10 young people using Popcorn Maker to create an action-oriented, promotional website.
(2,3) MadLab / Coder Dojo (13 Oct) Code Club, MadLab, Coder Dojo, Raspberry Pi, and Webmaker ran impromptu "office hours" style workshops in a huge warehouse for about 50 young people aged 8+
(4,5,6) Wired Next Generation (19 Oct) WIRED magazine's youth-focused event of the year. Webmaker and Freeformers teamed up to run a workshop on "How to Make Your Own Sci-Fi Movie" using Popcorn Maker.
(7,8,9) MozFest Maker Party! (25 - 27 Oct) A fantastic Maker Party with over 17 orgs from Hive New York, Hive Chicago, Hive Toronto, Hive India, Hive Indonesia, Make Things Do Stuff, and other partners.
Webmaker 2014 Like the rest of Mozilla, 2013 has been a busy year for the Webmaker Product team. In 2014 weâll build on this yearâs work to increase our impact.
A solid foundation This year was about establishing a solid product base. We did some things that will set us up well for next...
If you missed it the first time round, you'll be glad we re-shared this set of unique projects! This is:
What we made together at MozFest 2013:
http://mozillafestival.org/blog/demoparty_2013/
#MozFest is our annual gathering of the tribes. A public event where passionate, creative and thoughtful people from around the world meet up to hack ideas for improving the open web, itâs one of our most exciting and dynamic introductions for the growing community of Mozillians. And as you can see, this year was truly incredible! Check out what we accomplished this year at MozFest: http://mozillafestival.org/blog/growing-our-community
One of the great Hour of Code projects we saw this last week turned an Emily Dickenson Poem into an adorable interactive project.
You can make one too using National Writing Project's starter make.
We're loving @CrenellatedArts' use of Webmaker's remixable Postcard project to create a daily 'Unconventional Advent Calendar' in which she shares cool resources she has found over the year.
Take a look @cogdog's 'Cory Doctorow Mood Ring' & see how he put together a really cool project using Photoshop & Webmaker.
It's Throwback Thursday again and we're delighted by our recent find of a treasure trove in the form of the Mozilla T-shirt Archive Did you know you can get your own Firefox T-shirt while helping Mozilla build the web the world needs? It's the only way to get a real one online: http://ow.ly/rH2xO
