MyPet-a mobile game designed for anxious child in hospital
MyPet is a game based mobile application which combines distraction and breathing retraining approach to divert and calm child patients who aged under 14 Â from medical anxiety in hospital. The purpose of this application is to improve their medical experience. MyPet can help these children feel calmer who are experiencing anxiety, panic and fears in medical procedures through playing.
MyPet alternates breathing training into several game tasks to attract and communicate with children. In order to collect different pets and properties in MyPet, children need to complete breath training tasks to earn rewards. The games are designed short and simple for young children to play in limited medical visiting time.Â
