Had to continue the tradition of having a pet blog because i love looking back at buns from years ago. It's like a time capsule 🖤🤍

This is muffin and bagel. Muffin is as grumpy as mr mr buns ever was, and Bagel is as naughty 💛 i think he would thumped at both 🤣

I wasn't going to post this year or if at all ever again but i have to acknowledge the carrot for "santa"

This carrot for 8 years has been eaten by a "reindeer" also known as a eager to "help" little bun. The site of it this year intact guts me.

The fact i won't watch you open your gifts this year tomorrow morning is possibly making this one of the worst Christmases I've had.

I've missed watching you open your calendar and buying good quality bun treats.

I miss your snoot in the mornings and your chaos in the evenings. I miss your long whiskers and your bright eyes.

Your little sister muffin has been keeping up the chaos and laughter but there's still a hole that you left behind.

I love you buns i hope you have a good Christmas wherever you are and get all of the treatos from santa paws because you always was the best boy.

She's showing him some playful behaviour now instead of just being nervous of him.

Hey man, I know it's rather presumptuous for a stranger on anon to come at you like this but I'm really concerned about your bun. I can see that you care very much about your pets and I'd like to tell you something that might help them.

Cats carry germs in their claws and saliva that is deadly to rodents and birds, no doubt to rabbits too. I would strongly suggest to keep the two separate if you are able to do so. If they get into a fight or play too roughly, they will both likely to hurt the other and the rabbit may not be able to recover.

No judgement, I know you love your animals and care for them. I just want to say something in case you were not previously aware. Cheers.

You are absolutely correct that its deadly to small animals including buns though they aren't rodents they are lagomorphs.

Unfortunately as much as i would kill for the opportunity for him to be free roam my bun lives in a hutch 😞

He comes out to run around bit but my house is by no means rabbit proof therefore he needs constant watching.

This also means that even if i wasn't worried about them attacking each other, he's under constant supervision.

Hes also behind a door for most of the time from her when hes in his hutch to keep them separate. When she does go in that room she mostly goes and sits and looks at him and he does the same back.

This is good information for anyone thinking of getting a cat with a bun or vise versa they should consider the risks involved for both animals.

I could actually see them having a pretty chill relationship when she grows up a bit.

Despite the side eye in the 4th picture he really doesn't seem to mind her 🥰

She's uh less sure 😅 she by no means is terrified of him she's just unsure of him and likes to give him a threatening paw which of course he ignores because he doesn't speak cat.

She has bopped him on the nose a few times 🤦🏼‍♀️

He's been so gentle and chill with her though i really didn't expect that given we are changing major things in his life at his age.

I think she's more scared of him then he is of her.

Not to be too soppy but i love this boy so damn much 🖤🤍

He came to me as a suprise gift. I had been asking for a dog and my mam had bought me him to stop me from asking possibly thinking he was going to be lower maintenance than a dog (HA) but hes the best gift ive ever been given. No bunny will ever compare ever again.

He's 8 today and when i look at his little greying face i see the dark handsome teenager and that blue eyed baby staring back at me. My boy will probably outlive us all out of spite.

So happy birthday my baby bun Mr babish buns, handsome man. Here's to another 8 years loving you 🖤🤍
