I finally made GIFs of my classchange macros that I’ve been using since a long time. The only one missing is ninja cuz I don’t have one at lv50 yet.
How did you set these up? You must teach me.
First of all, the GIF doesn’t contain the full text cuz it wouldn’t fit in a 2mb GIF animation.
Here’s the FULL macro for the dragoon one with explanation in [[brackets]]:
/macroicon “Dragoon” classjob [[Dragoon gearset icon]] /gs change 21 <wait> [[This is to change to my “casual clothes” dragoon gearset 21. An important step to ensure the fluid transformation later.]] /s Initiate class change! Scanning weapon… Identification: Melancholy Moogle Mogfork. All system ready.<wait.2> [[If you’re a kamen rider fan, this is where the belt scans my weapon to determine what class i’m changing into. All of my weapons are moogle weapons]] /imperialsalute motion <wait> [[My henshin shout motion]] /s HENSHIN!! <wait> /ac “Ring of Thorns” <wait> [[My transform effect]] /em transforms. [[Custom text emote]] /gs change 1 <wait> [[The actual combat dragoon gearset]] /bm off <wait> [[Need to sheathe the weapon before making pose]] /pose /s Kamen Lalafell Soushin! White Bunny Form! Dragoon mode!
Other classes will have different wait timing depending on the skill used for the transformation.
There’s a reason why I need two gearsets for this. When changing class, it interrupts the animation of whatever move you were doing. Therefore, I cannot go directly from a class to another while retaining the awesome transformation animated effect. Which is why I need to change class for real first, using casual clothes, and then perform the transformation into the combat gear. Not to mention that I also to be on the relevant class anyways in order to use the transformation skill.
Well, I hope this helps. If you’re making class change macros, ensure to show them to me, I love watching them

I made most of the design while I was on a camping trip with my family way out in the countryside. I was so full of ideas, but I didn’t have a lot of tools to work with out there, so I figured I could act out the gameplay. And that’s how Yarny came to be. I created this little doll with old metal wires that I found and some yarn that I managed to borrow. Then I wandered around in the woods, putting Yarny in different situations and snapping pictures, figuring out fun ways that you could use your yarn.
