Sunday morning Sunday morning Sunday Sunday I love Sunday Sunday morning
I love to talk about sex and kink… I like to learn about queer history and I want to meet more modern transsexuals too… anyone else like that stuff? Any recommendations for archival kink blogs?
Raw wood exteriors have a very special place in my heart. I love the way wood ages... staining and warping... patterns of weathering being revealed with time as the grain bears the burden. Wood will always be my favorite material because it is alive! To work with it means to know and understand a living organism. I love painted accents on wood houses too. Some folks get too carried away painting on wood but I think a bold color on doorframes and windowsills can really accent the character of the wood if done right
Where have you been? I've been wondering where to go or if I should stay...
My experience with transmasculinity has been... in a word... lonesome. Being transsexual in the south is an interesting experience. I keep my gender queerness close to me. I pass and know all too well that many people I know would never treat me the same if they actually understood me... and yet, I've dated other queers that have tried to make me out to be less than binary. Queers that try to make me out to be a butch and cishets that would try to ruin my life if they ever learned I was a different type of man than them. I haven't met many other men in a similar situation... I know y'all are out here, but where? Let me know, I am curious about y'alls experiences...

Hello world...!
My name is Buck and I'm writing to you from southern Appalachia. I'm 20 something year old transsexual and I've got a range of interests--Appalachian studies, gender theology, independent research, mycology, Americana living, microbiology, death and decay, music history, sexuality and kink, carpentry, and quite a few other things. Just wanted to list a few to get better search results. I made this blog to post some of my own random thoughts and introspections, as well as to read what other people are saying online. I'm interested in sharing, but what good is sharing philosophies if you remain ignorant to the ideas of others? I'm looking for intellectual stimulation and I am eager to explore the curiosities out there that blogging has to offer. Nice to meet y'all, and I'll be posting more soon.
Friday Daylilies
Orange daylilies are my favorite flower. My grandma always called them ditch lilies--a common name stemming from one of the plants' most common uses in the southern US. Daylilies were used in mountainous areas along roadsides to control erosion because, unlike true lilies, they grow from rhizomes and a fibrous root system instead of sprouting from bulbs. Some folks say that you can eat petals and buds. I don't know how true that is... haven't tried it myself. Not sure I'd want to either since most of the ones I pick come from... well... ditches. Something else has always made me feel cosmically drawn to these flowers: they are always in bloom around my birthday.
I've been reading that book in the back, To Anyone Who Ever Asks: The Life, Music, and Mystery of Connie Converse... I'm quite familiar with Connie Converse's story and I researched it quite a bit when I was on air telling viewers about music history. I'm just scratching the surface of the book but it's definitely interesting to finally learn a little more from an independent researcher instead of the sparse details available online. I'm sure I'll be talking about it again soon...
