so remember when i mentioned a what if abt suede working under lucien
hes. very different from the suede we know that works under fraust. like you fuckin know how he is, hes playful. hes a tad morbid. he loves his master and would do anything in the world for him. hes a bit of terrorizing people and scaring them and picking on them for fun. hes fun.
just like how the suede that works under garon is very different from. hes a bit more animalistic. hes withdrawn. he doesnt want to be around humans at all, he wants to lash out at every waking second but never can. he wants to run away.
and then theres the lovely revelations suede where fraust dies and you all know how he is. very sad, very lonely. his one thing in the world that meant most to him is gone and suede very well wants to be gone with him. he blames himself for what happened. hes more reckless at every given moment in hopes that maybe, just maybe something will happen to him. he doesnt quite care anymore. hes grieving.
now. a suede working under lucien is... a very different story from those three. and i say that in a sense of yes, he still very much works as a bodyguard but... its different. its different in the sense that with lucien, being lucien. suede does a lot of underhanded and dirty things for lucien. suede is more... refined. he doesnt crack as many jokes as he does, hes not as playful. hes quiet. watchful. his bloodlust is a lot more controlled but its also just as rampant. lucien merely has to give a snap of his fingers and suede will jump. hes really a lot scary since he speaks when spoken to or doesnt speak at all because he just doesnt want to. theres not much of a point for him to talk. because its not what hes therefore.
where fraust helped suede in a sense with socializing and communicating with people, lucien makes his socialization and communication worse. the only one suede speaks to his lucien, to everyone else its just silence unless he really finds it necessary to provide an answer. even then his sentences are very short and very sharp and thats the end of what he has to say.
lucien conditioned suede this way, but lucien conditioned all of his servants to be that way. to better serve him and keep them from being disobedient towards him. but that isnt to say lucien isnt nice to suede because he is! very much so. hes sweet and kind towards and gives him rewards and what not for good jobs done. and suede accepts it because its new to him and all suede has known is pain through the black market.
but of course thats just luciens way of manipulating suede.
and if someone tried to tell suede about that sort of action, weeeell, it wouldnt go well that is for certain. considering suede would hold lucien in very high regard being the first person to treat him nicely.
( waves hands ) thats neither here nor there though! just a little insight on what suede would be like if he worked under lucien is all
