Escape from Empire – A Star Wars Matte Painting
Boba Fett in the Dunes | Fanmade Star Wars Photoshop Compositing
I’ve been practicing Photoshop compositing and created this Boba Fett digital artwork as part of my learning process. This piece is inspired by The Book of Boba Fett and shows him alone in the vast deserts of Tatooine, with his ship, Slave I, partially buried in the sand. I wanted to capture a quiet, cinematic moment — something that feels like a pause between the chaos.
I hesitated to post this since I’m still learning and it’s not perfect, but I ended up really liking it. It helped me improve my skills in photo manipulation, lighting, and blending. It might not be professional-level, but I’m proud of it.
Tools used: ✨ Adobe Photoshop ✨ Stock images for desert + sky ✨ Custom lighting, shadows & color grading
If you're into Star Wars fan art, digital compositing, or just like seeing creators learning and growing, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
🌟 Title: A New Hope – Fanmade Poster | Photoshop Compositing
✨ A tribute to the beginning of a legend...
This is a fanmade Star Wars: A New Hope poster I created as part of my Photoshop compositing practice. As someone who's still learning, I was hesitant to share it — but I’m really happy with how it turned out! This project helped me explore layout design, lighting, and visual storytelling, all inspired by the classic Star Wars aesthetic.
The poster features iconic elements from Episode IV: A New Hope, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and the Death Star, blended together with dramatic lighting and textures to create a cinematic vibe. I tried to honor the original spirit of the saga while giving it my own visual touch.
🛠️ Tools & Process:
Adobe Photoshop (compositing, lighting, poster design)
Stock photos and textures
Custom lighting and glow effects
Typography inspired by vintage sci-fi posters
🎨 I’m still growing as an artist, but this piece was a lot of fun to make and a big step forward in my learning journey. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!
Title: Scout Trooper’s Campfire on Endor | Photoshop Compositing Art
🌌 A peaceful moment in the galaxy far, far away...
This digital artwork is a Photoshop compositing project I created while learning the craft. It features the forest moon of Endor, reimagined at dusk, where a lone Scout Trooper rests by a small campfire after a long day of patrol. Inspired by the Star Wars universe, I aimed to capture a quiet and cinematic mood — the kind of scene you rarely get to see behind the action.
The composition blends various photo elements and effects to build atmosphere, including firelight, forest textures, and a sunset sky. It's not perfect since I’m still learning, but I really enjoyed bringing this vision to life.
🔧 Tools used:
Adobe Photoshop (Compositing, lighting, and color grading)
Stock images (trees, fire, sky, etc.)
Custom brushes for fog and light effects
📝 Feedback is welcome! I'm working on improving my compositing and storytelling skills with each piece.
