So this is my first Dracula daily, but I have been a fan of this book for at least fifteen years. Maybe more. I’ve read it many times. You guys have NO IDEA how much happiness fills my heart when I see all your loving posts about all the big moments, the epic lines, and the characters. Especially today I smiled so much seeing all the love for Mina.
It used to be a total wasteland on the internet for anything related to Dracula that wasn’t Hollywood influenced in the worst way, with the plot and all the characters totally butchered. I remember being happy to find like one or maybe two artists on deviantart who seemed to actually know the book.
But you guys get it! You know what this book is actually about and who the characters actually are and how amazing Mina is and like !!!!!!!!! A BUNCH OF REGULAR INTERNET PEOPLE SUCCESSFULLY UNDERSTOOD THIS BOOK WHEN DECADES OF SCHOLARSHIP AND HOLLYWOOD HAVE FAILED TO. DO YOU KNOW HOW AMAZING YOU ARE???

You should pick up the book it’s great! OR you could listen to re:Dracula which is what I’m doing this year. Yet another amazing thing I found through tumblr. It’s a full cast audiobook/podcast of Dracula and it’s free and the voice acting is So Good.

There is no particular reason I purchased this particular seasoning and am posting about it on this particular day.
So now that I’ve discovered there is finally a Dracula fandom on the internet, I suppose I will dust off my old Tim Burton inspired character designs to post. And by “dust off” I mean draw anew and update, since it’s been possibly around 7-10 years since I drew any of them. However, the design is essentially the same.
First up is Jonathan! (He’s the guinea pig…does anyone else do this?have a guinea pig character you test everything on?)

The protagonists from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Had this nearly completed as long as a whole year ago, but has been sitting on my computer since.
Do you need help making Historical Clothing? I got the place for you.
There is a website called oldtimepatterns.com that has patterns for clothes from the Renaissance Era all the way to the 1940′s.
On the left hand side they have a list of different eras you can press on that will lead you to the page that will have patterns for the clothes from the specific time your making the outfit from.
Once you choose the time era you can pick to see patterns specifically for either Women, Men, and Children.
And you can pick from patterns for the type of outfit you need.
By the way NO pattern is over $50!!! I hope this helps you guys if your making a historical costumes for things like plays, Steampunk, conventions, cosplays, or events.
