For #WordWednesday, I would like to share how this verse makes sense to me especially after what I went through this very morning.
My youngest, Uhone, she is turning 2 next month, had an allergic reaction to something in the middile of the night. So, my nanny calls me and asked me to take over. Upon taking her, I realise she has blisters all over her body and kept scratching and was crying. We tried everything, vaseline, ointments and nothing seemed to work.
at 01:30am, she is tired and in pain; something instantly came to my mind to use the Holy water and salt we have in the house to sooth her pain and just have faith that God will be with her. No jokes, I let go and let God in this situation and Uhone falls asleep instantly! not only that, but those blisters disappear! Like?! How amazing is that.
This verse came to my mind right away; we had leaned on our own understanding and knowledge and forgot that God has the power that surpasses all knowledge. Putting faith in HIS NAME healed my baby, and ensured that we can sleep :)
I ain't preaching, but I learnt today that sometimes you just have to have faith, and God will do the rest. Even if something seems obvious or natural, sometimes God just needs us to trust Him with what seems small to us but is huge to Him.
Also, choose to see God in everything you go through - you would be amazed at what you can discover!
Happy #WordWednesday
