He would have zero patience for someone he considers dull. A person who can match his quick wit and engage in high-level conversation would catch his attention.

Someone who shares an appreciation for the arts, classical music, and literature would fit into his life.

He’d want a partner who understands social politics and can navigate high-society events well. After all he does have a name to maintain.

The marriage was orchestrated by yours and his parents. You being bright and beautiful and him being a handsome high-ranking official. This was a so called perfect match said your parents.

When you first met him you couldn’t help but notice how handsome he actually was. Dark hair with the most adorable eyes with a serious expression on them.

Dieter of course acted seriously thinking of the marriage as more of an arrangement. Though inside he felt something new he hadn’t felt in a long time. You standing before him he thought about how this could be something more than just an arranged marriage.

During your first weeks living together Dieter didn’t really soften that much. He kept his serious face but also treated you with respect. He secretly watched your every move and stared at you until you raised your eyes at him. You kissed a goodnight and good morning kiss everyday as it was expected and he rested his hands on your hips sometimes but that’s where it ended really.

After a while you started noticing how he would touch you a lot more fe. hugging you from behind or staring at you even if you noticed. This led to you to being more and more devoted to eachother until you both understood your feelings for eachother were a lot deeper than expected.

Nowadays:

Outside home Dieter would be the arrogant officer, showing little public affection. Behind closed doors, his demeanor would shift to him being vulnerable, as you are the only place he can truly lower his guard.

At home, he’s a cultured man who enjoys fine wine, classical music, and intellectual debates with you.

Because his position makes him hyper-aware of the dangers around him, these feelings would manifest as territoriality. He would monitor who you interact with and would protect you from the dangers. You would never have to worry about physical safety. However, it would come at the cost of your freedom, as he would want you kept strictly under his eye.

You two would would always sleep together in bed even if there was a fight. It would be unacceptable for someone to be on the couch for the night.

If you ever try to hide a something or keep a surprise from him, he is sharp enough to notice the smallest shift in your tone or body language.

Dieter wasn’t used to having someone challenge him in situations. He would always have the last laugh no matter the circumstance. After you came along something happened and now he gets challenged all the time. He does like it and finds you intriguing but he still wants everything to end with his word.

When he makes a bold move, you hold his gaze for an extra beat before slightly raising your chin. Then he usually grabs your jaw and kisses you until you melt.

When he leans into your personal space to command, you lean in closer and smile at him. He might stutter a word after but he fixes it by picking you up and placing you on his lap.

If he is pacing the room while lecturing you to make a point, you step into his path, fix his collar with slow movements, and walk away without saying a word. He slightly smirks at this but instanly follows you to wherever you’re going.

Because he is competitive, a flash of dominance from you will make him double down on his own. He will become more attentive, and hyper-focused on your every move. Fe. Noticing when you have something to say back and then kissing you to shut you up.

When you push back, he pushes back even harder.

He doesn’t respect weakness. By you holding your ground, he sees you as a true equal in his eyes.

Most of the time you do your makeup on his lap unbothered by him. He usually tries to quicken your pace but you really don’t react or give in and just smile at him while continuing your process. This might earn you a few slaps on the bottom but it’s fine.

Being Hans Landa’s wife would be living a luxurious life but it also being restricted.

You would enjoy the finest food, clothes, and operas but your social circle would be heavily restricted. You would not see yourself around people Hans doesn’t seem to care for.

He would plan dates, like private opera boxes or surprise trips. He loves reminding you how much he adores you and that he would do anything for you.

At a gathering he would proudly show you off by having you in his arm, kissing your hand and praising your wit to everyone in the room. He would have you two in the center of the room and make sure you’re the one that shines.

The ring he got you would most definitely be big so everyone could see you’re married and then back off. He also loves it on his own hand cause this way he feels more close to you when he’s away.

Because he reads people perfectly, he would notice you are tired or upset before you yourself even realize it. This would lead to you having your favourite drink and food on stand-by and him by your side.

He’s very protective of you to the point he stalks you sometimes. Sometimes he would secretly drive near you while you were on a walk to make sure nobody was bothering you. Anyone who even minorly inconvenienced you would immediately go poof and disappear.

Most lunches go by yourself since he’s working a lot but he tries to get to dinner everyday cause having time for the two of you is important to him.
