Today's Encouraging Word
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: Psalm 118:19 KJV
Daily Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You, Lord that You made Yourself known to us and have given us the choice to accept or reject You. Thank You that my sins have been forgiven because I have accepted You as my Savior. Through the grace of jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Quote of the day
Whether we think of, or speak to, God, whether we act or suffer for him, all is prayer, when we have no other object than his love, and the desire of pleasing him.
Author: John Wesley
Bible Promise of the Day
None of God’s promises in the Bible ever fail.
“…not one word has failed of all the good things that the LORD your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.” Joshua 23:14, ESV.
Prayer of the Day
Our Father, EL, ELOAH [el, el-oh-ah] , the mighty, strong, prominent God, if I may be beginning this day with an unclean purpose in my heart, help me to clear it away; if I may be trying to avoid some urgent duty, make me ashamed to resist it. Keep away the desires that harm my life, and that withhold the enjoyment of my common work. Give me patience to accept what seems unfair now. Make me deserving Your grace. Lord God, give me wisdom to help relieve the ignorant and suffering. May I strive in every way to free thy people, that they may be uplifted in the progress of life. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Verse of the Day
Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.– Psalm 86:11 (NLT)

devotion by Bernard Trippett, Jr
The blessing will be sweeter.
“So those who planted their crops in despair will shout “Yes!” at the harvest, so those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing” Psalm 126:5-6, Message Bible.
I’ve waited many times in my life for God to bless me. My waiting involved remaining faithful and diligent, overcoming trials and turbulence. Yet, I’m glad I endured because it made the blessing much sweeter.
Count it all joy in your trial. Something great is coming just for you. The greater the trial of your faith, the greater the preparation, the greater the blessing will be. Keep waiting on Him only. Remain steadfast, immovable, and praise Him as you obey Him. With all you’ve endured, the blessing is going to be that much sweeter.
Prayer: Father, thank you for encouraging me when I need it the most. Sometimes, it gets tough, but I will continue to trust you. I will wait on what you said. You said you’re going to bless me, and you will. Help me remain steadfast and immovable, and praise you as I obey You. My blessing will be right on time. With all I’ve endured, I thank you that it’s going to make the blessing more valuable, more meaningful, more sweeter. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
