Our Art and Design BFA Thesis students are having a benefit show this Friday for their two upcoming thesis shows! Only $5 and it goes a long way to help emerging artists and designers!
The MSU Denver Visiting Scholar, Artist, and Designer program is welcoming photographer Golnar Adili for a free public talk Wednesday at the CVA on "Remembering Tehran: A Decade’s Review" – work that is part of the stunning exhibit "Presence: Reflections on the Middle East." Wed. 3/29, 5pm, at the CVA 965 Santa Fe Drive.
Doug Wilson, designer and director of the feature length documentary Linotype will be on campus today Wednesday 9/21 for a Brown Bag talk organized by flød the Communication Design student club. CN311H 11-12. Students interested in design, letterpress, printmaking, filmmaking, and crazy old machines are welcome.

Visiting Artist Brendan L. S. Tang will be giving a free public lecture TONIGHT Wednesday, 9/21, 5pm at the Center for Visual Art! 965 Santa Fe Drive, Denver
Brendan Tang was born in Dublin, Ireland of Trinidadian parents and is a naturalized citizen of Canada. He earned a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and an MFA from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Tang has lectured at conferences and academic institutions across North America, and his professional practice has also taken him to India, Europe, and Japan. Tang has an extensive exhibition record, including the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, the Musée d'art contemporary in de Montréal in QC, and Musée Ariana in Geneva.
