He’s normally a gynophobic playboy, but when his suit is on, he’s the ultimate host. Now, let’s have Hifumi’s actor, Kijima Ryuichi-san, tell us all about such a character’s charm!

Q1. What was your first impression of Hifumi?

So cool!!! That’s how I felt honestly……and immediately after, I thought that the key to portraying this character’s duality was in how I would act out the gap between his personalities. The side of him having issues dealing with women also interested me.  

Q2. What’s the charm of the “host mode” and the “off mode” respectively?

I bet Hifumi is the type to easily feel lonely. I think he really likes people. Beyond such kind of “like”, Hifumi is able to speak into one’s heart without distance, but only towards males. In other words he’s pretty good at being fawned over. Maybe we can say that his charm is being able to make everyone think he’s cute. Hifumi as a host is confident, and able to charm people with his words, though with an approach different than his off mode. Instead of emitting from putting his suit on, his confidence comes from all the attempts he’s made in order to overcome his phobia of women; I think he has learnt from it. Whichever Hifumi he is, I think he’s super cute.

2020/02/11 Alternative Rap Battleの独歩ヴァース。観音坂さんのファンなので感想が長いです。カ行とサ行の発音が最高。リリック内容も個人的な日記のような日常の鬱屈や不平不満が中心で、かなり好きな系統です。
