and for the laying down ones (that are bed height) you need the teleport any sim mod : HERE ... which i found very helpful in posing and placing sims for any poses to get them into the right area etc

so this is what i’ve been working on, the ruffles on the front are ‘real’ makes the dress look way nicer imo, BUT i worked it out so that they dont hog up idk game resources or what have you  when switching outfits, goes as smoothly as anything else with a pretty standard poly count... the mesh is more or less done, just gotta make more swatches and styles... but yeah, before christmas i should have this done..assuming christmasy things dont get in the way

I’m having a lot of fun with the new build stuff, this might be my favorite house I’ve made so far in the sims 4. Not even kinda close to done, and thus far I’ve only used...2 or 3 things of actual cc? [I mean im going to jam so much in there that it crashes im sure, but for now, what you see is mainly ‘get together’ items]

working on a new pose pack to be used with andews pose pack mod,  im also going to put all the old ones in the new easier format :) 

ehhh after I installed the new pack my poses don’t work anymore [using the pose player by pack], they just stand there, not even frozen or anything just kinda hang out in one spot, its chill, but not what they are supposed to do lol, so might take a little bit to fix assuming there isnt an update for it already

Alright, here’s some poses for your gallery, there is 6 total, all you have to do to make them show up is click the camera icon until you see them, should only take a few clicks :D

If you are using Andrew’s poser mod, the text you need is “a_portraitThumbnail_female_01_x” and replace “1″ with 2-6, to get all of the poses. also if your sims are in a mood, happy, sad, whatever, that emotion seems to override face movements, turn testingcheats on, and use “sims.remove_all_buffs” to make their faces look like the pose :D

ran a test this morning, it will conflict with any other poses made using the same animation file as the one I used, theres only 10 or so ones to pick from, so if you have another pose installed, or you download more, for specifically the gallery, they wont show up, same deal as the cas trait poses basically, have to cycle them out of your mods folder BUT, they will still show up in the gallery posed correctly, so save, cycle, repeat lol, im going to look into ‘adding’ poses, instead of overriding them

Alright I know its been like a month or two, but I finally got it done :D texturing and coming up with patterns is always the hardest part for me, anyway hope you guys like it and it was worth the wait lol

Perk of being snowed in, I already starting working on another project lol, this is just the base mesh for it, 

trying to mess around with bolder patterns, seeing them next to each other now, I think im going to make 4 new ones, and 4 recolors of the sweater pattern, I kinda like it.

edit as of 4/6/15: lots of stuff going on and not a lot of time being dedicated to sims stuff, but i am still working..slowly but surely lol

I keep thinking of, and working on, intricate items, that look neat...but I'll never actually use them in my game, I also have a bad habit of downloading similar content, and again, looks neat but I never use it lol. SO something I wanted a basic long sleeve shirt that has a nice shape to it, I plan on doing several different colors, and some will have little details like the one above with the decal on the sleeve cuffs, or patches, idk we'll see

so this is what I have so far looks like put together, ..in the modeling program [i have saved them as separate pieces] as far as I can tell, I need to make them sims 3 objects, and then convert them into sims 4...but I dont have sims 3 installed so...i'm hoping somehow i don't actually need it installed and can still get all the other programs to work, because that would be a nightmare testing, uninstalling a whole game and re installing another to make sure it works

 ... but for now I think I'm going to have to wait for someone more experienced to swoop in and be like HAY I GOT ANSWERS and i'll be like awesome. and I'll go back to making clothing... baggy sweater dress is what i want to make next, like an over sized comfy sweater, something I kinda wish I had in real life at the moment lol

FINALLY, have the capabilities to make objects, not bad for a first run eh? You'd think the modeling would be the hard part, but this was actually pretty easy once I got a hang of the program, just a bunch of basic shapes manipulated a bit, now for the bad news... I have no idea how to get it into the game....I'm working on it though, but if anyone happens to know how to get an object from cinema 4d to sims 4 compatible, let me know lol. I'm thinking I need to use another program in addition, idk..I'll figure it out if it kills me, I've been dying to make build/buy objects since I first discovered sims custom content.

edit: made tiny changes, added that arch bar connecting the two pieces, I think it makes a big difference, also getting closer to understanding how to port to the game :)

So here it is, I like the net back ones the best, but the darker colors in the net didn't quite look right so I went with solid backs for the lighter shirts. And I'll be honest depending on the shape of your sim, that owl decal can get a little wonky looking, well I guess every bit of clothing is like that, this is just super noticeable as its the main focus lol. I was going to change it, but I like it, I think its cute. anyway yup okay I think that is the last of the old projects that I never finished.

What I'm working on now [for real this time :D], this past week I've gotten several requests to finish this one, the shadowing was being a bugger, so far the tally is about 2 solid hours of making tiny changes opening the game grumbling closing, making tiny changes...you get the idea, but it's almost done. Pretty happy with it so far...and I said i wasn't going to..but I made another pose, something more practical to show off clothing lol

Lots of poses, they take the place of the cas trait animations: goofball, gloomy, lazy, clumsy and neat. I think I'm going to hold off on making anymore for now until someone comes out with a pose player type of thing, I'm not sure how they conflict if you download a pose that overrides the same file, if both will show up or if just one, or none because of the conflict, so pay attention to what poses you download and what trait they cover, that being said, the FIRST pose if you downloaded it already, delete that file, it's included in this one
