honestly this speaks to the commodification of fanfic. it’s an art that an artist is producing for you to appreciate. for free. you don’t really have any right to tell authors what they should or shouldn’t be writing? acting like we need to fill diversity quotas in our writing? that’s actually balls to the wall insane. if you want something written, write it yourself. nobody owes you anything
