Quickly following in tow, Ichinomiya bobs her head in agreement as she stands up - feeling a ‘pop’ in her joints, to say she was surprised would be an understatement, she couldn’t have been sitting that long, could she? She stares down at stem of her boot, rotating her ankles slightly to see if she could hear any more bubbles being popped. Then she realized she was being left behind, and hurried to close the distance between the actor and herself.

“Really? I never would’ve thought! I took you for a ‘cookies and cream’ guy." She had laughed, before whooping as the other decided to drag her to their destination; stumbling at first, she had called out him to ‘Slow down!” Which, didn’t work as she was laughing too hard, why? She didn’t even know, there was just something rather humorous about the entire situation.

        " Ah, well, looks are surprising! I mean, like, first of all, I would expect you to go for a crazy flavor, y'know ? Not just your standardized stuff. But, have you ever had cookies and cream ? It's delicious. "

     Yuto explained, not offended at all, but rather complacent with his current situation. Observing closely, he noticed Eruna's off-kilter disposition, and quickly eased up so the girl would no longer stumble apart. He, after all, tended to push others in a way that he shouldn't. Take it easy, he thinks, no need to rush. 

        " Haha! We're here ~ Hope you're not out of breath already, Rookie ! " 

    With that, the happy duo ( because there was no mistaking their smiles for anything else ) arrived at the scene; pop music resonated softly from within the ice cream parlor, and various pictures of sales and iced treats were up front, in hopes of attracting customers. They did their job just right, one would assume, if the students were lulled in here with such ease.

    The boy obviously doesn't trust this man, but his otherwise carefree persona prevents this doubt from being known; outwardly, that is.

  Ichinomiya blinks, almost starting as she nearly forgot about Yuuto. The girl feels herself brighten at the prospective of ice-cream, and her lips twitch upward to form a small grin. She nods her head rapidly, “Yeah! I want vanilla, alright?”

 Yuuto is certainly helping to prune away her bitterness, lets just hope he manages to keep her occupied enough not to think of the game. She probably forget about it in few days if she’s kept busy with something other than that. On the other hand, there is no telling what could happen if is found out who currently held her beloved game in their hands; she could drop everything she was doing and beg them to let her play, or she could turn into a Lovecraftian horror right at that very second. The latter was slightly unlikely, though.

          " That's the spirit ! "

     He's glad to see her perk up, even if slightly. Standing up, the boy stretches so as to even out the weight and angle his back had been in originally. Once that was done, he began to walk ahead of Eruna, fully expecting her to follow ( for there's no reason why she wouldn't. ) behind him.

          " I personally like Rocky Road myself ~ "

     The road ahead of them was smoothed out, with various shops and restaurants lining the sidewalks. A quality ice cream parlor was just ahead; although sensing an intensity between them still, Yuuto quickly grabbed Eruna's hand, and started to dash towards the ice cream store.

As soon as the question escaped the boy’s lips, she paled considerably and a dry laugh escaped her throat. “Trillions of years ago, the universe had started creating the very fabric of time and space; during this, certain stars aligned to set the course of a not-yet living being, dooming her to emotional devastation on this very day." What a comforting thing to say.

Maybe she was over-reacting - if only a little, Ichinomiya can survive a week until BestBuy gets a new shipment of games; right…? No, she was dead. She couldn’t survive a week with her fictional, cute girls. She glances at the boy once again, before wilting and and letting out a strangled groan. You know, if she was in the game then mushrooms would be sprouting off her head, and a dark purple haze would be radiating off her.

     Antics like that are precisely what makes Eruna, well, Eruna. No doubt she was just dramatizing things, so Yuuto didn't assume that this was true sadness. A small smile was evident on his face, therefore, and he extends an arm to pat the girl on her head.

           " Hey, hey, don't look so down! Y'know what, like, totally cheers me up ?                                  Ice cream ! Let's go get some, you and me. Whattaya say ? "

     Hopefully he'd be able to do something about this sour mood, if it was so sour in the first place. Little did he know that the very reason Eruna was sad was because of him -- he had actually been the last buyer of the game she wanted, because he bought that dating sim as a gift for Usamaru in hopes that it could distract him from being so loud during club meetings.

To be perfectly honest, Ichinomiya had no idea how she got in this situation;maybe the stars had aligned themselves in a certain way, maybe she dropped a dishcloth in the morning, or maybe she had stepped on crack running up the pedway  her way to school - whatever it was, the cerise-haired girl was doomed to awful day. 

Plopping herself on a nearby bench, Ichinomiya lamented her loss, slouching her shoulders and hanging her head - practically radiating misery and despair, instead of her typical cheerfulness and energy. But honestly, to think BestBuy would run out of the newest continuation to her favorite dating simulator before she got a chance to purchase it… The gods must truly be against her today. Thankfully, her musings get cut short, as she is interrupted by a tap on the shoulder. Tilting her head, and glancing up and meeting ecru orbs with her own weary eyes, she bobs her head in greeting. ”Ahh, Akama-kun. What are you doing here?”

     This was truly a rare sight. Not only was Eruna on her lonesome ( which was strange considering how many friends she had. ) but she was melancholic, and seemingly disheartened by events unknown to Yuuto. Had he not been her friend, surely he'd find a way to tease or exploit her at present. But, luckily for her they are friends, and the first instinct of the male was to assure his friend's troubles.

          " Ichinomiya-chan, I could ask ya the same thing, y'know !               But that's, like, not important right now, anyways.                                           Why are you so sad? Something happen ? " 

     Removing his hand from her tapped shoulder, he instead leans forward on the back of the bench, resting his arms over the edge. Peering down with a concerned, yet light-hearted gaze, his hazel eyes blink out of curiosity; but the rest of him remains silent in order to hear what would ( hopefully ) be her explanation.
