the cops shot an african american security guard who had just disarmed a person who opened fire in a bar fight. his name was Jemel Roberson and he aspired to be a police officer. the people at the bar were yelling at the cops not to shoot Jemel, trying to explain the situation. this happened in Chicago. I haven’t seen anything about this on tumblr yet and I think we should draw attention to this hero, who was able to disarm an armed person but had his life taken by cops who can’t even see who the bad guy was.
