The third of the 3-for-£10 '60s stools off ebay is finished. Painted with Rustoleum Chalky Furniture Paint in Winter Grey & re-covered in retro film poster fabric.

A day of catching up on all those jobs that I've been meaning to do for ages. Amongst other things, faux roman blinds in the kitchen and more no-sew cushions. Camper is ready to roll next weekend :)

First room - finished!

Now don’t get me wrong - I Know that this isn’t House Beautiful worthy, but we have finally finished Leah’s room and so i just wanted to share with you what we have done.

Basically, Leah’s room was the previous owner’s bedroom - it was brown, with a grotty beige carpet and peach woodwork & radiator. It also had an amazing example of a very brown 1960′s/1970′s built in wardrobe.

Anyway, after deliberating over exactly what shade of aqua she wanted, finally Leah decided on “Upbeat” by Crown and we set to painting her room at Easter. The built in wardrobes were painted in Rustoleum Chalk Effect Furniture Paint in Antique White, and decorated with stencils and glitter stickers.
