new kids on the block.
back to school.
the masculine version of a cleavage.
early nineties in another dimension. while the sun was gettin down.
palm trees work.
dress the way you are? or be the way you dress?
(we should live more the second ideia. but usually we go for the first)
I guess most of us have a big secret style plan that lives in our heads. mainly after a trip to Paris or five minutes scrolling the sartorialist. but we kinda end up with that same comfortable and practical everyday jeans and b&w t-shirts. lazy us.
this girl chose to be the hot pink ballerina. you could feel she was happy and proud. but still so shy.
working to be what she chose to be.
you go girl!
"please take your seats"
the panama hat is an old passion that I can never recover from.
Murade used it so well. this touch of elegance was a statement in this burning hot collection.
one of the nicest guys. had the nicest hairstyle.
everytime I get to see a fashion show I regret not following fashion design at school.
but we are always on time. right?
love the small story that can be created with clothing, lights, music and poses.
this was a great presentation by Eliana Murargy. the mind and dreams behind Murade. a mozambican brand.
and thank you for that last track choice! Da Funk always makes me happy.
"can I shoot you guys?"
they were just passing by. and for a moment there I wish I was a teen to hang out with them and be fun and relaxed all the time. great kids. loved to meet them.
there is always some art in the shadowing.
I believe that is because it is always a mystery to our minds. what we can not see. we have to imagine. and to do this we have to stop. pay some attention and do a little extra effort to figure it out.
and this was a nice one. provided by nature and performed by men.
legs have so much power that they can scream. could not resist to shoot these ones. everyone on the street was listening and turning their heads.
we were going to the museum of natural history. but it closes really early (like most of the places in town). it is a must see and probably is on top of the most beautiful buildings in maputo.
but we had fun anyway. outside.
"can you bring your hat. please?"
it is not for everyone to make it work. and surely it is not for everyone to find a fedora for sale in maputo. but Celso has the eye and the courage to enter a woman's store to try it out and take it.
I guess you can take him out of London. where he studied. but London is never going to be out of him. this mozambican is in perfect connection to the world's latest trends and dreams of exploring inspiring images in his own country. working his favorite tools - photography and design.
keep in touch with him. he already does great things and I know he is going to be a reference in a very near future // celsozaqueu.tumblr.com
how great can you look right next to potato bags?
magic my friends. girls like Clemence can do it. easy.
[I personally think that happens because she can talk with food]
we wanted just a slice. but after tasting we bought the whole watermelon. this was the semi half that came home. the rest was a joy for both of us. for the kids that took Clemence as a celebrity. and for some sellers that though we were south african sisters [sadly. no pictures of this. too busy eating].
