I actually wanna bring awareness to some commission scams going around, luckily I had friends to tell me what to do in this situation. I have attached a screenshot of the interaction for any other victims future reference.
The request started with a comment on one of my posts asking to message them cuz they wanna commission me, so I figured - Eh, if I get scammed, I'll just have done a drawing for my own experience
I followed up with my price sheets and they chose the full body - however, they didn't confirm what price they'd like to pay (as far as I know from the community, the scammers have began to accept any price to not seem suspicious)
They provided a picture of a dog that I background checked, nothing came up on Google Lens.
Here you can see another instance of the "buyer" not caring whether they actually get the drawing - they will ask for a refund anyways.
These scammers are known to like PayPal the best due to chargeback taxes - They ask you for a refund and you have to Pay them because They made the request to you.
By this point, I decided to check in with my friends, they provided me with an article on this:

Scam Type
The pattern seemed to match, so I made a final effort to figure out if they were truly a scammer: Switch the payment app.
I asked them to switch to Revolut where they can still send me money through their preferred payment app - Such as their beloved PayPal - to which this person responded by blocking me ☆*•°
So if you see the following pattern, make sure to ask the potential scammer to switch payment methods!
1. Comments under your post asking for a commission (doesn't leave a like on your post or reblog it, despite having only that kind of activity on their fairly empty account), insists on staying in Tumblr DMs.
2. Accepts any price immediately - they know they're gonna get their money back.
3. Refuses to switch to any payment methods that aren't PayPal.
4. Blocks you if they believe their scam has failed.
