contestant: this round i will be going completely traditional. this pie recipe has been in my family for seven generations and I know if I make any mistake my great great grandmother’s corpse will physically manifest in this arena and kill me.

bobby: I’ve never made this dish in my life but I’m just going to completely wing it and hope for the best. i know this is supposed to be a sweet dish but in the crust instead of graham crackers I’ll be using ancho chili powder and instead of sugar I’ll be using ancho chili powder. instead of a traditional crust I’ll be making a waffle and instead of a traditional base I’ll be using smoked paprika mixed with lard.
