So i just wanna ask how would the mercs react if i'd ask them to come...to my prom.

“REALLY?! Oi-Oi mean..Uh sure, mate. I’ll go...”
He didn’t really expect anyone to ask him to even go for fun much, less as a prom date of some sort.
His mom gets him all dolled up in a nice suit, complete with a slicked back dorky hairstyle.
He picks flowers for you on the way there.
He doesn’t know how to dance at all and will end up awkwardly standing by the punch bowl unless you drag him away.
Is hesitant to say yes at first...
He doesn’t go to many big events..or like them for that matter.
But if it makes you happy, he comes along.
His sisters make him look presentable. Combing his hair(he did have hair as a teen..i think-) and getting him dressed in something nice.
Doesn’t want to be in the crowd, prefers to stand next to a janitors closet and enjoy his time with you relatively away from everyone else.
His sisters having been forcing Heavy to participate in dancing lessons since they were able to stand, he knows some stuff about slow dancing.
Gives you a kiss on the cheek at the end of the night.
Only goes because he’s got nothing better to do.
He shows up a godawful American flag print suit...
Has no idea how to dance but you two just kinda have fun and freestyle together
Causes a fuss with some russian kid and ends up getting you both kicked out...
He walks(or marches rather)you back you home, it’s pretty sweet.
Red as a tomato when you ask...
He accepts and god he’s so giddy. He’s such a lil dork.
Comes dressed in his absolute BEST.
He tries to hold your hands but his hands are sweaty.
His mother taught him slow dancing for this very moment...but it’s too bad for him that he’s just naturally bad at it.
Somehow you two end up square dancing and everyone else joins in.
You have a great night together actually and end up stay until most everyone is gone.
He walks you home much like Soldier, but holds your hand because his hands aren’t sweaty anymore.
Is the loudest and proudest guy there.
He’s a party animal and as a prank spiked the punch bowl with laxatives.
Meaning for the dance you two have the dance floor all to yourselves
Tells you some cheesy love poem that he can’t fully remember.
Asks it you two can have some more fun like this again sometime.
Is actually baffled that you asked him but plays it off as if he knew you wanted him.
Like Sniper, his mom does his hair up all nice and nerdy but all the noogies from his brothers mess it up.
His brothers tag along as “chaperones” and egg his brother on.
For most of the night he’s trying to get his brothers to go away and leave him alone but unfortunately that doesn’t look like it’s happening.
At least he’s a naturally good dancer!
Declines, but you do see him at prom anyway.
He too spiked the punch but wanted to see what the effects of ipecac and pepto-bismol did to the human body.
But a fun experiment anyway!
You two do hang out, even though it’s mostly avoiding your sick classmates.
You two go to an ice cream parlor later and finally he walks you home.
They don’t really get too romantic.
Preferring to watch all the other couples dance, thinking it’s just like the romance movies they like to watch.
Eventually they ask you to teach them how to dance!
They also end up getting super hyper at the punch bowl and dessert table, havoc ensues.
Based on my headcanons of his past, at this point in his life he’d never been to high school and isn’t sure what a prom is at first.
Once you explain it he’s extremely hesitant. He can’t afford suits and ties or anything nice besides a dress shirt but he goes anyway.
it’s not what he was expecting. He was expecting more of a..ball room kinda thing.
Feels very out of place but gets more comfortable.
Is a surprisingly good dancer to say he’s never done it before.
Unfortunately, before the end of the night and the last song he disappears into the night without a goodbye.
But you’d best believe he enjoyed himself.
