On the left, Matt Murdock and Karen Page are sitting on her front stoop after their first official date, with their heads close together. Matt is explaining why he won't come upstairs with Karen, saying: "I have this incredible ability to bring disaster to the best things in my life, and tonight has been perfect. Don't you think?" Karen tilts her head back and says, "Yes," with a smile. Matt continues: "And if I stop now, then I get to keep this one perfect night."

During a record-breaking heatwave, Matt and Karen have no choice but to confront the sexual attraction they still feel towards each other when things come to a head at the office. They come up with an agreement, one night to get it out of their systems and then back to normal. Except just one night isn't what either of them wants and admitting that might just break their newly built friendship.

Dedicating this one to all my Karedevil lovers! I felt like Matt and Karen needed a little more fun times (with a dash of my trademark angst and emotional baggage).
