I love a good sunset. Especially when it isn't rammed with tourists.

Washing Buddha in Mandalay. Early morning, but worth it.

Second day in Myanmar. There is something about being in asia that I love. Myanmar feels very raw. There are tourists but it’s nut very touristy. I gather that it’s what Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia etc were like when they just opened up.

Today’s adventure had us chilling until about noon then headed to a number of places.

1. A market (not sure which one) 2. Mandalay palace 3. Golden palace monastery 4. Atomashi monastery 5. Kuthodaw pagoda 6. Sandamuni pagoda 7. Kyauktawgyi pagoda 8. Mandalay hill

All in four hours in 38 degree Celsius heat. Needless to say, we’re pagoda,d out. At least for today.

Tomorrow is a three am wake up call to see a Buddha being washed by the monks. My traveling partner claims I won’t regret the three am wake up. I’m holding her to it. :)
