Do you know of any solitary confinement events happening any time?

I know of a private event that is scheduled for next month at F22. It would likely be a 23/1 event meaning 23 hours in your cell and 1 hour of out of cell (showers etc.)

During roleplay, if someone was sensitive to the delousing stuff can they skip the delousing?

If you were absolutely serious about it, we would just use chilled and distilled water. We do not want you missing the jarring experience of being so lowly that you are suspected of being infested with lice!

Is there a perp walk at f22?

Currently there is no perp walk at F22. Everything is inside.

FCJ does have a perp walk program.

Is the required age for roleplay 18 or 21? I’m nineteen and am really interested!

At FCJ Iowa the age is still 18.

At F22, the age is 20.

Love the idea of having visitation at f22. What if I don't have anyone who could visit me though

That's easy! We have one of our staff visit you as your newly appointed appeals lawyer!

My partner is very turned on by the idea of me being locked up. Is there a way for my partner to visit me while locked in f22 while remaining restrained and locked in?

Of course! Like every modern jail we have a visitation room!

That is an image of the F22 Visitation Room from the inmate side! If you want to arrange secure visitation, you partner could stay at a local hotel and visit daily and then pick you up following release. But if you want this, tell us and confirm it. It takes planning!

You probably get embarrassed, we tell you to take another shower and then we congratulate ourselves at being so good at intake!

I always have inmates kneel on their bunks when i shackle them. They lose all control at that point!

Prisoner of war role play is when you arrive in the uniform of the enemy. You are assumed captured as an active duty soldier or a spy. You are treated as the enemy. You may get interrogated, water boarded, head shaved, stripped and put in a p.o.w. uniform or any of a number of surprises! P.o.w. play is designed for guys who have a soldier mindset and want to thwart the enemy and not reveal secrets.

The 3rd world experience is about confinement in a setting where our first world rules do not apply. You may sit for hours in stress positions. You may get your head shaved or live in just white boxers. Humiliation and degradation is the rule not the exception. Complaints and whining are met with harder work and minimal tolerance.

Neither of these experiences is designed for the inexperienced player. You need to know what you are getting in to!

Remember the scenes from the early 2000’s at camp delta in cuba, pictures of prisoners kept in sensory deprivation with ear defenders, cuffed, masked and blindfolded while held in cages like animals. i’ve always wanted to experience what that feels like.

We do a series of roleplays based on military brig, p.o.w. confinement and a new third world prison experience next winter. Those roleplays use many elements of what you describe and could be very satisfying for you!

I surprised the state prohibits leg irons. Will you do another adopt-a-highway event? What about death row role plays?

We have literally adopted a two mile stretch of highway coming in to Hampton, Iowa. We are responsible for its care until we relinquish the paperwork.

And thus, in answer to your question, yes there will be many future cleanup weekends. When you do sign up, be certain to mention your willingness in your application.

The leg irons ban is not negotiable. We are under agreement with Iowa D.O.T. and have very specific rules imposed on us. We must wear the vests, use their trash bags, avoid certain kinds of debris (meth lab garbage, dead animals, etc.) Leg irons was asked about and soundly rejected.

An entirely seperate question is death row role plays. Let me be absolutely honest with you. These roleplays are emotionally draining and complicated. They take weeks of planning and cooperation with every roleplayer. They do not just happen!

More importantly, we lost a very important member of our role play community to an accidental hanging associated with solo role play. That loss was devastating and has impacted our play.

So, death row play will happen when many of us recover. And i don't have a time frame on that!

I need to put in a-shameless plug for the 3 recent roleplay spaces. FCJ, F22 and HCI all put themselves on the line to provide an environment where everyone can safely and privately experience jail and prison and chain gangs and all the stuff associated with it.

These groups and individuals have invested 100s of thousands of dollars in real estate and uniforms and restraints. They spend countless hours painting, repairing, planning and meal prepping for countless roleplays every year.

But lately, there has been a lot of last minute cancelations and just ridiculous requests. We have had people request to bring a service dog to a roleplay. We have had people request medical staff on standby for migraines. We have had food allergy requests added at check in after meals-and menus are set. We have had cancelled credit cards. Arguments about costs. We have even recently received a 14 page detailed request for a nearly minute by minute roleplay down to the color of paper napkins.

I guess I am asking for a little understanding and empathy towards these providers. I literally have 100s of questions a week about roleplays asking minutely detailed questions. The percentage who follow through and actually book a roleplay is roughly 3%.

These events cannot go on forever without understanding and support. Many amazing spaces like The Academy and Men's Central Prison and later RAWK and recently HCI are gone forever. If you didn't go, then you missed it!

Where do you get your white socks from for prison role play I have been interested in buying a some?

I buy solely from Hard Time Products and Bob-Barker Jail Supply.

That applies to all 3 role plays HCI, FCJ and F22.

I hope you're not going to let the poll determine 100% of the content you post. A lot of us do love the hard labor/chain gang stuff and I think you do too.

I very much enjoy the chain gang role play and we put a lot of effort into creating authentic experiences.

The color images in this post represent our Adopt A Highway campaign at FCJ which is pure public exposure work. The state will not allow us to use leg irons for safety reasons but the experience is 100% authentic.

The downside of this is that 4 guys signed up last week. One was a no show. That is 25% of the work force not there.

And when I post chain gang related content, the "likes" plummet! Finally even questions drop off.

So I am faced with a dilemma of what to focus on!
