This is an old editing project of mine. Everything goes to the beat of the song. The editing software I was using which was some archaic piece of crap and was so hard to get in sync at times but I did it. Only took about 3 days working almost 15 hours straight. I swear I don’t think I ate or slept. I was obsessed with getting t perfectly timed and I still see errors. This is was what got me the job as dailies editor at MTV though. The song is called “More Human Than Human” by Ezekiel Honig. He actually saw my video and loved it. He emailed me because he wanted to use it on his website! This was done back in 2004.

Sometimes insects oddly trust me. At least long enough to take their picture.

The weird things that happen in my life... My daughter and I were just having this huge conversation about moths because her dad had killed a caterpillar in his garden. I was telling her all caterpillars turn into moths or butterflies. All of a sudden she notices the biggest moth I have ever seen in my yard which comes and lands on the floor of the back porch. It stayed very still and let me hold it! Not only that but it hung out forever letting me take multiple photos with my professional camera. (This is my phone photo) Iwas telling her I had good karma because when I lived in CR moths and butterflies would get stuck in my porch screen and I would always free them. So she asks to hold it, and when I went to give it to her, it flew away! The craziest things happen to me. #truestory #strangecoincidence #coincidence #motherdaughtertime #synchronicity
