What is being songkin like...?
Depends on a person you ask. Some are the characters the song is about, or are the embodiment of songs.
In my case it's hard to explain. I don't really feel "as" or "with" will explain my identity with songs well enough, as they are mostly combined, which is why I made a musisonar label to just kind of put a term and an umbrella for those.
I feel like only specific songs can explain my identity in the alterhumanity spectrum, that way I identify with the songs. Or I feel like I am that song, and there's no explanation given as I don't have one.
Also being a music focused polymorph (or a Music Visualizer as I call myself) with a specific amount of shapes makes me identify as specific music as it is a song that formed one of shapes I can morph into. Plus it makes it easier for me to accidentally get a music into the identity list, or form flickers.
It is important to understand that it is the same connection as with other concepts, objects, places and creatures, that otherkins feel. It's not the "ooh I like that song a lot" it's not a SP/IN or hyperfixation, or something that brings back memories and nostalgia. A lot of alterhumans don't have memories and / or shifts, don't identify with a thing on spiritual level, so the reason can be just "I feel like it's me" and that's it.
What is important is that one knows that it's the part of ones identity that one can't drop and one identifies as it. That's it.
