I learned that the upcoming Broadway Hades, Geno Serges, has made continuously reprehensible comments and videos about the transgender community, the LGBT+ community in general, and against women and other minorities. With Hadestown as a whole being about 'nudging the needle' forward and effecting positive change, even if it's slow, I urge you to contact the casting directors and ask them to reconsider his hire. Please let your voice be heard.

Racism against Indians is actually a little insane when you consider how widespread it is even among liberals and leftists . Even people who consider themselves to be progressive will laugh at call center or tech support jokes. All scammers are inherently indian. It’s okay to laugh at jokes making fun of Indians for their feelings towards animals or how they drive. Yes I did. Massively disappointing. I don't know why they didn't tighten their background checks after the mess that was Gary Dourdan's casting. At least this guy has actual stage credits (he was Mufasa in the Lion King), but it's still so disappointing. There's plenty of good basses out there, it can't be that hard to find someone with non-harmful takes???

Just got out of the theater from seeing the Hadestown proshot, and it was absolutely incredible, but I do believe Christopher Nolan went through the runtime of Hadestown, found all the quietest and most emotional moments, and decided to put loud as fuck explosions in The Odyssey at exactly those times as a malicious plot to ruin the moviegoing experience of me, specifically

No, but for real! I literally watched the pro-shot today. Our theatre was in the same hallway right across from the Odyssey. I could hear rumbling from that theatre during quiet parts, and I was surprised that they ended at around the same time.
