For Easter parties, these Easter Hatchery cupcakes are a great treat. Not only are they tasty, but they're also fun to make because you can use bright decorations and chocolate eggs that look like a cute hatchery.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup whole milk. 1/4 cup colored sprinkles for decoration. 12 small chocolate Easter eggs for decoration.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put paper liners in a cupcake pan. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Put away. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a different bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. One egg at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture slowly, mixing in the milk every so often. Put the dry ingredients in first and end with them. Don't mix any further than that. Two-thirds of the way to the top of each cupcake liner should be full of batter. In a hot oven, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. After taking the cupcakes out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling. After the cupcakes have cooled completely, decorate them by putting a chocolate Easter egg in the middle of each one and adding colored sprinkles on top. The Easter Hatchery cupcakes are now ready to be served. Have fun!
