Sam’s dad did her major justice with this portrait today!

Happy 2nd birthday Samus! Both kids got a big plate o' steak each, but it's Sam who got a day of constant fanfare just for being her, and if there's one thing she loves more than steak, it's being praised incessantly for no apparent reason. She's been prancing all day.

As usual I've been failing to keep this blog up to date, but the kids are doing awesome. Sam turns 2 Jan. 10th and we've got some fun stuff planned. They've enjoyed a ton of holiday parties these last few months and I regret not taking photos of Sammy in her dazzling New Years glowstick ensemble. It snowed today and was the first time Sam has ever seen more than an inch of it. She had fun on our walk but no dog can compete with Link regarding his enthusiasm for snow !! It's still coming down and we hope for much more. I'll definitely get some pictures up if so!

I've been abandoning this blog again but not today! Time to upload some dusty pics from the ol phone and take a wealth of new ones as the pups are going to a costume party tonight. They visited the corn maze again this year - a tradition now - but I stupidly didn't snap any shots that time.
