Another scientist in this facility died because he tried to cure a flesh-turning-metal disease by sneakily infecting the patient (who was refusing treatment) with a previously discovered "flesh"-eating bacterium that eats through fucking everything, including metal, and got himself infected with the metal disease in the process. That flesh eating bacterium? Was being studied by a pair of scientists, both of whom died in an escalating prank war where they kept spiking each others' stuff with the bacterium.
