Buccaneerâs Bay: A SimDoughnut Story Build

Iâm sorry it took so long to post this set, but as Tink mentioned, I was sick for about two weeks.
In a land where Myth and Legend meets both Fantasy and Reality lies the fishing village of Buccaneerâs Bay. Upon hearing that there was a warrant for the arrest of both himself and his crew on charges of piracy, Captain Byron Thorn boldly sailed into Buccaneers Bay and let the cannons of his ship, The Black Llama, answer the charges for him. After a short, but decisive battle the town was theirs for the plundering, and plunder it they did.
A while ago I came across some custom content converted by Veranka from the Sims Bon Voyage set. Among the items were some pirate related objects. Â Upon seeing this an idea hatched, and I approached Tink with the question, âHey. do you want to be Pirates with me?â. The result was a month long collaboration that yielded Buccaneerâs Bay.
I had done some ships in the past, but never really finished them. I hadnât seen any really convincing pirate ships built for Sims 4 as of yet, and when the Spooky Stuff pack arrived with some great pirate costumes in it, it seemed a shame to only use them as a Halloween costume. It was a lot of fun, and this is probably the biggest project Iâve done to date.
Some fun facts about this build:
This build contains well over 900 Alpine Columns (which is probably some sort of record). At over a million simoleons, this is the most expensive build I have created to date. This build could easily house 30 sims comfortably, what a shame we can only have 8 in a household right? While this lot is set as residential, in addition to the Pirate Ship, there is a fish shop, butchers shop, tavern, artistâs studio, cartographer office, out door market, prison, 8 private residences (for the landlubbers) and a very elaborate tunnel system to get you to and from the ship. I believe this makes the lot ideal for story telling.
You can find the Buccaneerâs Bay build in my SimDoughnut gallery.  Just enable the âinclude custom contentâ button in the advanced options, and use the hashtags  #pirate #ship or  #buccaneer. You should have the âmoveobjectsâ cheat enabled before placing this lot in your game.
As you may have already surmised this build features the Ahoy Matey! set by Tink, as well as some of her other sets, and sets by other creators. In addition, I have done several recolors and added several swatches to objects Iâve created for other sets.  When downloading this new set, please allow the files to  overwrite any objects you may have previously downloaded from me.  The Buccaneerâs Bay Stuff Pack contains 133 objects (including additional pirate costumes) so I will not be doing previews for it.
