bts did that. they showed so much importance towards self-love because they knew that’s a controversial issue in today’s day and age. they showed us it’s okay to love ourselves, because no one’s gonna judge us or call us out for it. they told us that loving ourselves is the first step to any relationship, any commitment. they put so much emphasis on loving ourselves, they dedicated three whole albums to it. they made it okay to have self-confidence. their main message for so long has been to love ourselves, and i really needed this message because honestly without them, i feel like nothing and feel like loving myself isn’t worth it. but they told me it is. they told me it’s okay. they told me it’s all gonna be fine, and that i’m the only one who deserves to be loved by me. they told me all of this and they couldn’t have said it any clearer. so i just really want to thank bts. for telling me it’s okay.
