Finally, a finished project!  Thank goodness for art prompts.  I decided to screw any high and mighty preconceptions about watercolor and it’s “proper usage” and just make these dang mediums work for me.  My meaning being: I used white gouache AND pencil on top of the watercolor…OH MY!  I still consider it more of a study since I’m trying to get comfortable with the medium and how to use it to differentiate my style.

It  is a wizard’s messy workshop complete with a crystal ball (as well as some backup travel models), drying herbs for potions, scrolls galore and of course a staff. 

It measures about 7x7
